Job Summary

As the Vice President of Human Resources, you will lead the development and execution of enterprise-wide people strategies for The Fischer Group and its subsidiaries, including Fischer Homes, Grand Communities, Victory Mortgage, Homestead Title, and Acendion Collective. In this executive leadership role, you will partner closely with senior leadership to align HR strategy with business goals and help ensure we remain the Employer and Builder of Choice across all the communities we serve. This role is an in-office role located at our Corporate Headquarters in Erlanger, KY.

These skills will be used to:

  • Partner with executive and departmental leadership to support business growth through people strategy
  • Develop and implement integrated talent strategies that support acquisition, development, engagement, and retention
  • Lead enterprise-wide organizational development and succession planning efforts
  • Oversee HR policy execution across 25+ departments in seven states, ensuring consistency and compliance
  • Collaborate with benefits and compensation teams to design competitive programs that attract and retain top talent
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with all employment laws, safety regulations, and best practices
  • Act as a trusted advisor to executive leadership on all aspects of HR and organizational culture

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business, or a related field
  • Master’s degree and/or HR certification strongly preferred
  • 10+ years of progressive HR leadership experience, including 3+ years at the executive level
  • Experience managing HR strategy for multi-site operations
  • Demonstrated success in leading HR teams through organizational change and growth
  • Expertise in talent planning, compensation strategy, employee relations, and compliance
  • Strong business acumen and the ability to connect people strategies to business performance

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

  • Must be able to effectively communicate across multiple channels and formats
  • Must be able to operate a computer and standard office equipment
  • Must be able to occasionally lift up to 20 lbs. unassisted
  • Role involves periods of prolonged sitting with occasional standing and walking
  • Limited travel
