Job Summary
As a Purchasing Coordinator, you play an important role in the relationship between our trade partners and Fischer Homes. In this role, you will collaborate with a variety of internal and external partners. The most rewarding aspect of this role is knowing that you provide essential oversight to each jobsite to ensure a successful, timely, and accurate delivery of material.

These skills will be used to:

Research the status of Purchase Orders and invoices
Tracks approvals, processes and distribute summary to Purchasing file
Serves as a liaison between Trade Partners, Accounting, Field Managers and Estimating
Originates the creation of any Purchase Orders as requested by the Purchasing Manager
Create and maintain all Standard Vendor Lists for each community
Distribute all standard vendor list to Construction Manager and Field Manager quarterly for review and updating
Maintains and updates vendor/trade construction comparison spreadsheets in Excel with new vendor pricing

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree

Physical demands and work environment:

Must be able to use sensory skills (i.e. verbal communication) to effectively communicate and interact with other Associates and customers.
Must be able to perform repetitive motions and use fine motor skills (i.e. typing, writing) to operate office supplies (i.e. computer, calculator, copier).
Must be able to lift and carry approximately 20-25lbs unassisted.
Must be able to sit for long periods of time with low periods of reaching and standing.
