PURCHASING COORDINATOR
Job Summary
As a Purchasing Coordinator, you play an important role in the relationship between our trade partners and Fischer Homes. In this role, you will collaborate with a variety of internal and external partners. The most rewarding aspect of this role is knowing that you provide essential oversight to each jobsite to ensure a successful, timely, and accurate delivery of material.

- Will work to hold members accountable for the timely completion of documentation or steps in a process
These skills will be used to:
- Research the status of Purchase Orders and invoices
- Tracks approvals, processes and distribute summary to Purchasing file
- Serves as a liaison between Trade Partners, Accounting, Field Managers and Estimating
- Originates the creation of any Purchase Orders as requested by the Purchasing Manager
- Create and maintain all Standard Vendor Lists for each community
- Distribute all standard vendor list to Construction Manager and Field Manager quarterly for review and updating
- Maintains and updates vendor/trade construction comparison spreadsheets in Excel with new vendor pricing
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree
Physical demands and work environment:
- Must be able to use sensory skills (i.e. verbal communication) to effectively communicate and interact with other Associates and customers.
- Must be able to perform repetitive motions and use fine motor skills (i.e. typing, writing) to operate office supplies (i.e. computer, calculator, copier).
- Must be able to lift and carry approximately 20-25lbs unassisted.
- Must be able to sit for long periods of time with low periods of reaching and standing.
