OPERATIONS MANAGER

Job Summary 

As the Operations Manager, you will lead and optimize the operational processes of Grand Communities, LLC to ensure efficiency across all aspects of land development. In this role, you will guide a cross-functional team, streamline communication between departments, and align efforts to achieve organizational goals.

These skills will be used to:

  • Lead and develop a high-performing team that supports land development operations and community management.
  • Drive operational efficiency by improving processes, systems, and workflows across multiple departments.
  • Manage and enhance project management and land database tools to ensure accurate data and reporting.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, Accounting, and Operations, to align on goals and drive performance.
  • Oversee compliance and documentation to ensure all land development and community files meet company standards.
  • Support strategic planning and execution to achieve departmental and organizational objectives.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of five years of applicable work experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, operations management, or a related field.
  • Strong analytic and strategic problem-solving ability.
  • Strong experience with MS applications and exceptional competencies in leadership ability, communication, and a drive for excellence.
  • Proven experience in process improvement and demonstrated professional work experience with process improvement methodologies, such as Six Sigma.
    • Green Belt Certification in Six Sigma or higher. (Preferred)

Physical demands and work environment:

  • Must have use of sensory skills to effectively communicate and interact with other employees and the public through use of the telephone and face-to-face contact.
  • Must have the capability to effectively use and operate various items of office-related equipment such as but not limited to the computer, calculator, copier, and fax machine.
  • Must be able to sit for long periods of time with low periods of reaching and standing.
