SENIOR ORACLE ERP APPLICATION ADMINISTRATOR
Job Summary
As a Senior IT Application Administrator at Fischer Homes, you will serve as the functional and technical owner of Oracle Financials, with a primary focus on General Ledger and Intercompany processes. This role operates at the intersection of Finance and IT, translating complex accounting requirements into scalable, secure, and well-controlled Oracle ERP solutions.
This position is 100% onsite in Erlanger, KY. Must be willing to work onsite.

- Adapt confidently to system upgrades, enhancements, and evolving enterprise requirements while maintaining operational integrity.
These skills will be used to:
- Lead end-to-end ownership of Oracle General Ledger and Intercompany processes, ensuring accuracy, scalability, and compliance.
- Design, configure, and optimize Oracle GL, Subledger Accounting (SLA), and Intercompany setups including ledgers, legal entities, balancing segments, and accounting rules.
- Drive process improvements focused on close acceleration, automation, reduction of manual journals, and improved reconciliations.
- Partner with Finance and Accounting leadership to standardize intercompany transaction flows, eliminations, and settlement processes.
- Diagnose and resolve accounting and posting issues by tracing transactions from subledger to GL.
- Support integrations, data loads (FBDI/ADFDI), and reporting solutions (OTBI, BI Publisher, Smart View) impacting Financials.
- Establish and maintain master data governance related to chart of accounts, legal entities, and intercompany partners.
- Ensure alignment of system configurations with audit requirements and accounting standards (US GAAP / IFRS).
- Lead or support ERP upgrades, enhancements, M&A integrations, and financial transformation initiatives.
- Serve as the bridge between functional finance teams and technical developers, reviewing and guiding solution design.
- Mentor analysts and contribute to strengthening internal Oracle Financials expertise.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
- 8+ years of experience supporting Oracle ERP Financials with significant focus on General Ledger and Intercompany Accounting.
- Strong functional expertise in Oracle GL, SLA, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Expenses, and reporting (Oracle E-Business Suite and/or Oracle Fusion Cloud).
- Solid accounting foundation with demonstrated understanding of period close, consolidations, eliminations, and financial controls.
- Experience working in complex, multi-entity or multi-ledger environments.
- Technical fluency with Oracle data structures, integrations, and reporting tools.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Oracle Fusion Financials in a global environment.
- Exposure to financial consolidation and reconciliation tools (FCCS, ARCS).
- Prior experience supporting ERP transformations, shared services, or M&A integrations.
- CPA, CMA, or Oracle Financials certifications.
- Exposure to automation technologies, RPA, or AI-enabled tools.
Physical demands and work environment:
- Must have use of sensory skills to effectively communicate and interact with other employees and the public through use of the telephone and face-to-face contact.
- Must have the capability to effectively use and operate various items of office-related equipment such as but not limited to the computer, calculator, copier, and printers.
- Must be able to sit for long periods of time with low periods of reaching and standing.
- Must be able to travel to company offices, division locations, or field sites as required.
