LAND DEVELOPMENT COORDINATOR
Job Summary
As a Land Development Coordinator, you will play a critical support role within our Grand Communities team, partnering closely with the President, Operations Manager, and Land Development team. You will help keep projects moving forward by maintaining schedules, coordinating documentation, and supporting the land development process from early planning through project completion. The most rewarding part of this role is being at the center of the development process, helping bring communities to life through organization, communication, and attention to detail.

These skills will be used to:
- Coordinate and maintain development schedules, ensuring timely updates and communication across teams.
- Support the plat recording process, including preparing and processing subdivision plats, easements, and related documentation.
- Collaborate with legal teams, engineers, government agencies, and internal stakeholders to ensure projects progress on schedule.
- Manage project files and documentation across systems such as Sapphire and Construction Online.
- Track and maintain key data, including lot costs, parcel IDs, property taxes, and construction bonds.
- Conduct audits of project documentation to ensure accuracy, completeness, and proper storage.
- Prepare reports, meeting materials, and investor packets; coordinate and document joint venture meetings.
- Provide administrative and operational support to the Land Development Construction team.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of one (1) year of professional work experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field.
- Experience in an administrative, coordination, or operations-focused role.
- Familiarity with project management systems or document management tools.
- Experience working in land development, construction, or real estate environments.
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
- Must be able to use sensory skills (i.e. verbal communication) to effectively communicate and interact with other Associates and customers.
- Must be able to perform repetitive motions and use fine motor skills (i.e. typing, writing) to operate office supplies (i.e. computer, calculator, copier).
- Must be able to lift and carry approximately 20-25lbs unassisted.
- Must be able to sit for long periods of time with low periods of reaching and standing.
