Senior Land Operations Coordinator
Job Summary
The Senior Land Operations Coordinator at Fischer Homes supports Land Acquisition and Land Development by keeping recurring operational workflows organized, accurate, and moving forward. In this role, you will independently manage Sales Release readiness, intake quality, records, reporting support, and cross-functional follow-up. Your work will help teams identify missing information early, resolve standard exceptions, and maintain continuity across connected land operations. This is an opportunity to strengthen the consistency and reliability of processes that support community readiness and delivery.
You Will Thrive in This Role If You…
- Manage recurring workflows with limited supervision while maintaining reliable follow-through across competing deadlines.
- Notice missing information, discrepancies, and standard exceptions, then take appropriate action or escalate.
- Communicate clearly in writing and verbally with cross-functional partners to keep handoffs moving.
- Work carefully within established processes while using sound judgment to clarify priorities and resolve routine issues.
- Maintain organized records, trackers, templates, and documentation that help others execute consistently.
- Support peers through onboarding, training, and practical guidance on standard systems and workflows.
These skills will be used to:
- Coordinate Sales Release workflows by tracking readiness, organizing documentation, following up on missing items, managing recurring communication, and supporting final-material readiness.
- Own intake-list quality and help ensure community setup information and land contacts are complete, usable, and routed correctly.
- Serve as backup for assigned initial-entry and update workflows within the operating model.
- Review system updates, reports, trackers, and documentation for completeness, consistency, and required follow-up.
- Monitor workflow status, deadlines, and handoffs; drive follow-up with responsible parties and escalate risks before they affect delivery.
- Coordinate recurring reporting support and audit preparation, perform basic data-quality checks, and prepare discrepancies or audit items for review and correction.
- Maintain utility information and support data accuracy across connected processes.
- Support assigned design and homeowners association help-desk requests, resolve routine items, and escalate non-standard issues.
- Maintain templates, checklists, trackers, and shared process resources; provide peer support and assist with onboarding and training on standard systems and recurring workflows.
- Identify recurring friction, unclear ownership, duplicated effort, and process gaps; document issues, recommend improvements to the Lead Land Operations Coordinator, and perform additional duties as requested by management.
Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Two or more years of experience in land operations, land acquisition support, land development support, business operations, project coordination, or a related role.
- Intermediate Excel and proficiency in Outlook, Teams, Word, and SharePoint.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Two- or four-year degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, Construction Management, Land Development, or a related field.
- Experience with CRM, Construction Online, Sapphire, Site Manager, SharePoint, or similar systems.
- Experience training or supporting team members on recurring systems and processes.
Physical demands and work environment:
- Must be able to use sensory skills, including verbal communication, to effectively communicate and interact with other associates and customers.
- Must be able to perform repetitive motions and use fine motor skills, including typing and writing, to operate standard office equipment.
- Must be able to lift and carry approximately 20-25 lbs. unassisted.
- Must be able to sit for long periods of time with low periods of reaching and standing.
