Social Media Manager

This role plays a key part within the Face Reality Brand Team. This position will develop and execute a creative and strategic social media presence across all social media outlets that showcases the unique identity of the Face Reality brand and establishes a strong connection with our community and expands our brand presence. You are responsible for developing and maintaining our social media and content strategy, managing social calendars, driving engagement and growth, brand affinity, and loyalty across social channels. Additionally, you will utilize data and insights to drive growth and traffic to generate leads and sales. You will own day-to-day management of all social media platforms, including planning, scheduling, posting, analyzing, and reporting on all social content. In this role, you will live and breathe social media and bring bold, fresh, creative, results-driven ideas. This is a hybrid role working onsite in Danville, CA every Tuesday - Thursday and remotely Mondays and Fridays.*Please note that we are not in a position to support Visa sponsorship at this time.


Responsibilities and Essential Functions

 

Strategy Development: 

  • Develop and implement innovative, compelling, and strategic social & content marketing plans to drive engagement & growth, sense of community and brand awareness to organic social channels, while considering business goals and objectives including but not limited to commercial calendar, campaigns, events etc.
  • Collaborate with the Senior Brand Marketing Manager to ensure commercial & MarCom calendar initiatives are rolled out cohesively across all social channels
  • Be our in-house expert on social media trends to guide creative & content teams by providing and educating on best practices for different social channels and content formats, including new and emerging platforms or algorithm changes
  • Set and manage KPIs and report monthly on performance across all platforms including Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, TikTok, YouTube, and LinkedIn, etc. including insights and trends within each channel
  • Assist SBM in day-to-day execution of MarCom strategy and plans

 

Content Creation & Management:

  • Collaborate with the internal Creative team to create, curate, and manage high-quality content (text, images, videos) for all social media platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, etc.
  • Identify target audiences within our B2B, B2C, and Clinic channels and tailor content to engage these groups effectively
  • Attend tradeshows and other events for social content capture

Brand Consistency:

  • Ensure all social media content and communications are consistent with the brand’s voice, style, and messaging by collaborating with the Associate Marketing Manager
  • Develop, implement and manage innovative ideas to drive brand awareness and growth to organic social channels
  • Maintain brand integrity across all social media channels

Community Engagement:

  • Implement best in class engagement strategy
  • Engage with followers, respond to comments and messages, and foster a positive community around the brand
  • Monitor social media channels for feedback, mentions, and trends relevant to the brand

Analytics & Reporting:

  • Use analytics tools to measure the effectiveness of social media campaigns and adjust strategies as needed
  • Prepare regular reports on social media performance and provide insights and recommendations for optimization and improvements
  • Track and analyze key performance metrics, including but not limited to engagement rates, follower growth, website traffic driven by social media and influencer content campaigns

Collaboration & Coordination:

  • Work cross-functionally with channel owners to develop & execute clear and integrated social media strategy for initiatives
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure cohesive communication and messaging
  • Work with Senior Brand Marketing Manager to curate and cultivate relationships with influencers, ambassadors, and content creators, including:
    • Developing ambassador and influencer content brief strategy, execution, approvals and management
    • Integrate influencer and collaborator stories and content creation to align with the commercial calendar and other opportunities
    • Collaborate with the brand team and help to execute our Partnership seeding strategy

 

Experience and Qualifications: 

  • 5+ years of related social media management experience
  • Bachelors degree in Marketing, Communications or related field
  • Must demonstrate deep knowledge and expertise of all social platforms including industry trends, best practices, algorithms, and regulations
  • Must demonstrate strong strategic, analytical, and creative skills
  • Must be an excellent communicator (both in-person and digitally) with strong interpersonal skills
  • Thrives in an environment that is fast-paced, rapidly changing, and client service-oriented
  • Proactive with strong problem-solving skills
  • Team player who can successfully build collaborative relationships and work cross-functionally
  • Detail-oriented and able to handle multiple priorities while meeting objectives
  • Ability to own and drive projects with limited direction and to make good judgement calls
  • Highest level of professionalism at all times; calm under pressure
  • Strong Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel skills


Physical Demands:

 

  • Must be able to lift and carry objects weighing up to 25 pounds
  • Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
  • Ability to move around the office including stooping, crouching, and/or kneeling to troubleshoot issues
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license and have a clean driving record
  • Ability to perform repetitive tasks with accuracy and attention to detail
  • Must be able to communicate effectively in verbal and written form
  • Comfortable lifting, pushing, and pulling equipment and materials
  • Comfortable using a computer, keyboard, and mouse

Salary: $78k-90k per year plus bonus and full benefits package
