We are seeking a highly motivated, energetic People Business Partner with a strong background in employee relations and coaching to support our growing team. This role serves as a trusted advisor to managers and employees, providing guidance on workplace issues, fostering a positive work environment, and ensuring business enablement and alignment with company priorities.
The ideal candidate has experience handling employee relations matters, providing career and performance coaching to employees and company leadership, and partnering with business units to drive engagement and performance.
Functional Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for employee relations issues, ensuring timely and fair resolution.
- Regularly provide coaching/guidance on skill & professional development, career pathing and leveling, change management, and sensitive people situations.
- Conduct investigations related to employee concerns, workplace conflicts, or policy violations.
- Advise managers on performance management, corrective action, and disciplinary processes.
- Foster a positive work culture by proactively addressing workplace concerns.
- Maintain compliance with labor laws and company policies to minimize risk exposure.
- Provide one-on-one coaching to managers and employees to enhance leadership capabilities and team effectiveness.
- Support leaders in navigating challenging conversations, conflict resolution, and employee engagement.
- Guide managers in fostering an inclusive, high-performance culture.
- Act as a People consultant, collaborating with business leaders to drive HR strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Analyze trends in engagement, retention, and employee feedback to develop proactive solutions.
- Partner with leaders on change management initiatives and workforce planning.
- Support the implementation of People programs and initiatives, ensuring alignment with company goals.
- Provide guidance on People policies, procedures, and best practices to managers and employees.
- Ensure compliance and stay up to date with local employment laws and regulations, as well as People trends, to provide informed recommendations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Organizational Psychology, or a related field.
- 6+ years of experience in people or business partnerships, specifically within the tech industry or fast-scaling startups.
- Demonstrated success in decreasing turnover and increasing engagement within technical teams through data-driven decisions and creative talent programs.
- Experience leading organizational change or large-scale projects using agile methodologies. You know how to pivot quickly without losing sight of the goal.
- Deep understanding of how talent strategy directly impacts the bottom line, with enough labor law and compliance knowledge to manage risk while still moving at the speed of the business.

- Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Self-directed with the ability to work autonomously on several projects concurrently.
- Must possess excellent communication and analytical skills.
- High proficiency in written and spoken English (+B2)
- Global experience is preferred.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously; must be able to manage time and workload effectively to meet deadlines.
