General Affairs Specialist (1-Year Fixed-Term)

The Opportunity:
Factorial Energy is seeking a General Affairs Specialist to join our team at our Cheonan, South Korea location. This is a one-year fixed-term contract position, with renewal or conversion subject to performance and business needs. This person will own the general affairs function end-to-end, covering office and dormitory administration, facility and vendor contracts, employee transportation and convenience services, benefits operations, and the interior setup of our new site. The ideal candidate is a hands-on operator who can both oversee the function and personally execute the day-to-day work in a fast-growing manufacturing environment.
In this role, you will:
- Oversee the overall general affairs function while also handling hands-on day-to-day operations (office administration, asset management, supplies management, etc.)
- Lead office interior setup and fit-out for our new site
- Manage facility-related contracts and administration, including office and dormitory leases, renovations, and furniture procurement
- Manage dormitory operations and related services (rent, internet, cleaning, and other administrative matters)
- Manage contracts and external vendors (cleaning, security, cafeteria, etc.)
- Manage employee transportation and daily convenience services (e.g., business taxis, commute bus, corporate vehicles, meal tickets)
- Manage corporate credit card purchasing and monthly closing
- Purchase and manage inventory of office supplies and consumables
- Operate and manage employee benefits programs
- Support visa and relocation-related administration for employees relocating from overseas
- Handle visitor reception and support company events and protocol
- Establish and improve internal administrative processes
- Support the establishment and management of company policies and regulations
- Respond to and support employee inquiries related to general affairs
- Collaborate and communicate with management and relevant departments
We are looking for people who:
- Have 5+ years of experience in general affairs or a similar role
- Bring a comprehensive understanding of general affairs operations with hands-on execution capability
- Can both oversee the function and personally carry out day-to-day tasks
- Have experience identifying process improvement opportunities, implementing automation where appropriate, and building scalable administrative systems
- Are detail-oriented, responsible, and strong communicators
- Are proficient in MS Office and other office software
- Are fluent in Korean
- Are fluent in English or Chinese (a plus)
- Have experience in general affairs within a manufacturing or industrial facility environment (a plus)
- Have experience working with foreign-invested companies or overseas partners/vendors (a plus)
