Social Media Manager & Content Creator

The Social Media Manager & Content Creator will work directly with the Senior Director of Marketing to develop our overarching owned social media strategy aligned to growth goals and business needs. The person in this role will lead the strategy, planning and execution of brand content across all social media platforms. They will refine our social media approach on existing platforms and define it in new ones, with the ultimate goals of creating best-in-class content and growing our community.
What you’ll do:
- Ideate, develop, and create dynamic content to help attract, engage, and grow our brand community across social media platforms (TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.)
- Translate the Faherty brand voice to each social platform
- Generate new content ideas that align with and expand on the brand's mission and brand story
- Partner with influencer and growth marketing to identify and surface creators and influencers that align with Faherty brand and brand values
- Develop and maintain editorial calendars for all social channels, leveraging seasonal go to market plans in partnership with marketing team
- Manage, track, and report weekly and monthly performance for all social channels—and be able to identify ways we can quickly pivot and improve as needed
- Schedule and post on all social media platforms
- Guide curation of user-generated content
- Oversee community management including interacting with our audience, responding to DMs, and liaising with the CX team to resolve customer issues
- Keep up with the latest social media trends (news, memes, celebrities, music, etc.) and partners (whether it’s influencers, creators, or other organizations) and find brand-right ways to incorporate them into our content
- Collaborate with the marketing team and other cross-functional partners at Faherty
What you’ll have:
- Minimum of 7 years’ experience in social media management with a track record of creating engaging content
- In-house brand experience from a fashion/lifestyle, beauty or product driven brand preferred
- Interest in fashion/lifestyle, entertainment, and current events a must
- Innovative, strategic, and analytical thinker
- Self-starter with a strong sense of urgency and prioritization skills
- Team player who works well both collaboratively and autonomously
- Organizational and time-management skills
- Keen eye for detail and aesthetic
- Proficient in photography & video
- Proficient in Photoshop, After Effects, Premier, and InDesign
- Graphic design skills
- Animation skills a plus
We aim to pay competitively for our size and industry. The base salary range for this position is $95,000 - $110,000 USD, but we will consider location, skill level and experience to determine the final offer.
