Account Executive, Northeast | Women's Wholesale

The ideal Account Executive will be based in the NY Metro area and work out of our HQ in the Financial District. This person will be responsible for managing and building strategic long-term partnerships with existing and prospective accounts to drive profitable sales growth and opportunities. This individual will oversee the management of the Northeast (ME, VT, NH, MA, RI, CT, NJ, DE, MD, DC, NY, PA) customers, including shop-in-shop retailers. Direct responsibilities will include managing day-to-day operations and all communication within assigned territories, analyzing selling and initiating in-season opportunities, road work, in-store events, trade show support, as well as a continued focus on new business.
What you’ll do:
- Take full ownership of account maintenance: work market appointments, order- entry in NuOrder, order maintenance in Netsuite, marketing requests, product
knowledge, open order and problem account management. - Confidently review and analyze weekly selling reports, identify in-season and future opportunities to drive sales performance.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of market trends, competitor analysis and product development opportunities to grow the women’s wholesale business.
- Provide quarterly hindsight recaps and reporting.
- Conduct regular in-store visits and events, assist with visual merchandising and inventory management. Complete road work as needed to existing and prospective accounts.
- Assist with sample, imagery and product attribute process within assigned territories.
- Trade Shows: assist with prep and execution of trade shows, attend major and regional markets as needed.
- Support with pre-line launch: account forecasting, sample set assembly and sample coordination. Analyze sales trends and history to assist with seasonal buy process.
- Maintain active target account list, brainstorm and execute creative approaches to open new key businesses.
- Other duties and projects as assigned
What you’ll have:
- Ability to work out of NYC HQ 3 days per week
- Bachelor’s degree in related field
- 5+ years of experience working in similar role, working directly with wholesale accounts
- First-hand knowledge of the women’s wholesale apparel market and key accounts
- Ability to communicate effectively with buyers and Faherty Sales Team
- Strong sense of urgency and attention to detail Goal oriented and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Has valid US License

We aim to pay competitively for our size and industry. The base salary range for this position is $90,000 - $100,000 USD, but we will consider location, skill level and experience to determine the final offer.
