job purpose:
The MES Team at fairlife is responsible for implementing, improving, and supporting the production‑critical systems used to manufacture fairlife products. These systems orchestrate operational execution while generating and integrating data across ERP and business intelligence platforms.
The MES Analyst will play a key role in optimizing production operations by implementing, configuring, and supporting MES and related shop‑floor software systems. This position will analyze manufacturing processes, troubleshoot system issues, ensure data accuracy, and deliver reliable support for plant‑floor operations.
responsibilities:
- System Configuration & Implementation: Designing, configuring, testing, and deploying MES solutions. Managing version updates, patches, and system upgrades.
- Process Optimization: Analyze manufacturing processes to identify improvements. Reduce waste, drive operational efficiency, and improve data accuracy.
- Support & Troubleshooting: Provide technical support for MES and associated systems. Diagnose and resolve incidents to maintain system uptime. Participate in on‑call rotation.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with IT, production, quality, and engineering teams to gather and document business requirements. Translate requirements into functional system implementations.
- Data Management & Reporting: Analyze production data for accuracy and completeness. Support integration between MES, ERP, Quality, SCADA, and Warehouse systems.
- Training & Documentation: Develop SOPs and user documentation. Train end users on system functionality and best practices.
skills/qualifications required:
- Required Experience: 2-5+ years in a technical or analyst role within a manufacturing environment.
- Technical Skills Required: Proficiency in MES , SCADA, SQL, PLC communication technologies (E.g. OPC), Data historian and ERP integrations.
- Preferred Technologies: Ignition, Canary, Allen-Bradley platforms.
- Prior experience in a manufacturing environment required, food and beverage experience preferred.
working conditions and physical requirements:
- Support on the factory floor as needed.
- Extended hours during certain project phases.
- On-site presence required during various project phases.
- Travel to other plants, vendor facilities, and integrator sites as needed.
food safety requirements:
- Notify supervision of any repairs or adjustments that are required that may affect product quality or food safety.
- Understand, observe, and comply with the handling and usage of the color-coded container policy while in the Production Areas.
- Perform all duties necessary to meet Company, Customer and/or Government requirements/standards as prioritized by the Company.
- Ability to initiate action to prevent the occurrence of nonconformities relating to Food Safety and the Quality of the product, processes, quality system, or safety system.
- Identify and record any problems relating to Food Safety and the Quality of the ingredients, processes, quality system, or safety system.
- Control further processing or delivery of nonconforming product in terms of Food Safety and Quality issues until the deficiency or unsatisfactory condition has been corrected.
- In the event of absence, another employee with the same skill level will assume the duties and responsibilities as required.

Base pay range:
$70,000 - $90,000 USD
