Impact
At FalconX, you’ll help make crypto assets a successful asset class in the most compliant way. Some of the largest financial institutions from Wall Street to Silicon Valley and around the world will turn to us for the best market prices and insights on the crypto industry. You will understand the key money laundering risks within the global digital assets industry and assist in putting key risk mitigation controls in place. As a key member of the APAC compliance team and key contributor to the global AML program, you will learn and grow our company’s values, which define our culture and drive day to day behaviors and decision-making.
Responsibilities
- Review prospective and existing clients, liquidity providers, and exchanges to ensure compliance with MAS PSN02 and related AML/CFT obligations, working closely with the KYC and Transaction Monitoring teams in India.
- Support the preparation of Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) reports for new and existing clients in collaboration with Sales and KYC.
- Assist in maintaining and updating Singapore-specific Compliance policies, ensuring alignment with MAS regulatory expectations across both AML and broader regulatory areas.
- Provide regulatory compliance advice to Sales, Institutional Coverage, and Operations teams, particularly on cross-border marketing and licensing requirements under MAS guidelines.
- Assist with the annual Singapore Enterprise-Wide Risk Assessment (EWRA).
- Maintain regulatory compliance registers, including Conflicts of Interest, Gifts, and Outside Business Interests, and prepare compliance MI for internal and regulatory stakeholders, including the MAS.
- Manage the Outsourcing Register and support third-party risk assessments and vendor due diligence in accordance with MAS Outsourcing Guidelines.
- Support internal and external audit inspections and work with the CCO in tracking findings and remediation plans, as appropriate.
- Participate in local industry forums to enhance awareness of regulatory best practices and strengthen the FalconX brand in the compliance space.
Success
- As a Compliance Officer, you’ll be part of a local and global network of compliance officers and a key contributor to the success of FalconX AML and Compliance program.
- To be successful in this role, you must work well under pressure, have excellent communication skills both verbal and written, and have the ability to know what requires escalation and what is important and needs attention.
- While this role predominately covers Singapore, you may be asked to work on regional ad hoc projects.

- Ability to articulate in a clear and concise manner
- Current experience in KYB and TM in virtual/digital assets is a distinct advantage
