The Head of ICT and Security is responsible to:
- Develop and oversee the implementation of the ICT security and digital resilience strategy and advise senior management and the board on ICT risk, resilience, and compliance posture.
- Ensure ongoing compliance with the Company's requirements for crypto asset providers and direct activities to meet the Company’s ICT risk management, incident response, and ICT service oversight obligations. Maintain necessary documentation, certifications, and reporting for EU regulators.
- Developing ICT Risk Management Framework including establishing and maintaining a comprehensive ICT risk management framework and lead regular risk assessments and digital operational resilience testing.
- Cybersecurity & Operational Resilience - Develop policies and controls to prevent, detect, respond to, and recover from cyber threats and ICT disruptions, and ensure robust incident response and business continuity plans are in place and tested.
- Oversight of ICT Third Parties - Manage due diligence, contracting, and oversight of critical ICT third-party service providers as required under EU regulators. Coordinate for regulatory inspections and information provision on critical third-party providers.
- Security Function Management - Lead and develop the information security and ICT teams to support strategic goals and build relationships with internal stakeholders (legal, risk, compliance) and external partners (auditors, regulators).
- Regulatory Engagement - act as primary contact for regulatory bodies regarding ICT, cyber, and operational resilience matters and prepare for and participate in supervisory reviews, audits, and regulatory inspections.
- Stay updated on industry trends and emerging risks: Adapt strategies to reflect changes in the environment.
General
- Support the preparation of reports for the Board of Directors, senior management, auditors, and regulatory authorities.
- Respond to information requests from regulators and auditors, and provide assistance during thematic reviews conducted by these parties.
- Participate in meetings as required.
Required Skills:
The Company is committed to providing ongoing training through both on-the-job learning and traditional programme-based training. The incumbent is expected to have,
- familiarity with the operations of the crypto, investment, or banking sectors will be considered an advantage;
- relevant qualification in financial services or compliance is required;
- strong verbal and written communication skills, sound judgment, and analytical abilities;
- follow-up skills and the ability to communicate clearly and promptly are essential;
- team player skills with a genuine interest in digital assets and blockchain technology; and
- enthusiasm for continuous learning and a willingness to explore new frontiers in technology and compliance.
