Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Manager, Finance Systems to lead our finance systems team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the strategic direction, implementation, and maintenance of all financial systems, ensuring their optimal performance and alignment with business objectives. This role requires a deep understanding of financial processes, strong technical expertise, and exceptional leadership skills.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of financial systems and applications, including ERP, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting tools.
- Partner with finance and accounting teams to understand business requirements and translate them into effective system solutions.
- Manage a team of finance systems analysts, fostering their professional growth and development.
- Ensure data integrity and accuracy across all financial systems.
- Develop and implement best practices for system administration, security, and user support.
- Oversee system upgrades, patches, and enhancements, minimizing disruption to business operations.
- Collaborate with IT and other departments to integrate financial systems with other enterprise applications.
- Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies in finance systems.
- Provide training and support to end-users on financial systems and processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in finance systems, with at least 3 years in a leadership or management role.
- Proven experience with major systems (e.g., Netsuite, Oracle, Zip, Flowqast. workiva).
- Strong understanding of financial accounting principles and practices.
- Excellent project management skills and a track record of successful system implementations.
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience with data visualization and reporting tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.
The base pay for this role is expected to be between $191,000 - $259,000 USD for a Senior Manager level in the New York City and San Francisco Bay Area. This expected base pay range is based on information at the time this post was generated. This role will also be eligible for other forms of compensation such as a performance linked bonus, equity, and a competitive benefits package. Actual compensation for a successful candidate will be determined based on a number of factors such as location, skillset, experience, qualifications and the level at which the candidate is hired.
