About the Role:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Assistant Merchandiser to join our growing team. This entry-level position is a great opportunity for someone with 1–2 years of merchandising, product development, or buying experience in the apparel industry. You’ll support the merchandising team in building seasonal assortments, maintaining line sheets, and keeping product development on track from concept to final handoff.
The role is based at our Bell, CA headquarters and will transition to our new Beverly Hills office in early 2026.
Key Responsibilities:

Support the Merchandising team with line planning, style creation, and seasonal development

Assist in maintaining accurate and up-to-date line sheets, style trackers, and visual assortment tools

Manage data entry and style setup in PLM (Centric experience is a plus)

Coordinate with cross-functional teams (Design, Product Development, Sales) to ensure calendar deliverables are met

Help prepare for internal and external meetings, including assembling presentation boards and showroom samples

Track samples and assist with organizing and merchandising the showroom

Conduct market research and competitive analysis to support seasonal planning

Take notes during milestone meetings and follow up on key action items
Qualifications:

1–2 years of experience in merchandising, buying, product development, or related apparel role

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Working knowledge of Excel and Adobe Illustrator; experience with PLM systems preferred

Excellent communication and follow-up skills

Passion for product, fashion trends, and the merchandising process

Bachelor’s degree in Fashion, Merchandising, or a related field preferred

At FAM Brands, we are committed to fair and transparent compensation. Salary ranges for positions are based on job level, location, and market data. We offer competitive benefits and are dedicated to equal pay for equal work. Specific salary offers depend on each candidate’s qualifications and experience. FAM Brands also offers all employees participation in our annual bonus program (Non-Sales) or commission program (Sales).

$25 - $27.50 USD
