The Sales Assistant provides day-to-day support to the Sales team within FAM Brands’ wholesale apparel division. This role is key in ensuring that account management, order entry, and customer communications run seamlessly. The Sales Assistant works cross-functionally with Product Development, Production, Logistics, and Accounting to ensure that all wholesale orders are executed accurately and delivered on time.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support Sales team with all aspects of account management, including order entry, updates, and follow-up.

  • Maintain accurate customer information, line sheets, and pricing files.

  • Prepare sales materials, line presentations, and customer decks for market meetings.

  • Partner with internal teams to track development samples, confirm pricing, and ensure production timelines are met.

  • Assist in managing order changes, cancellations, and extensions to ensure alignment between sales and operations.

  • Communicate key dates, shipment status, and order confirmations to customers and internal stakeholders.

  • Organize samples and showroom space, and assist with market appointments and trade show preparation.

  • Run reports and maintain sales tracking spreadsheets to support business analysis and performance updates.

  • Provide exceptional service to internal and external partners, maintaining a professional and responsive approach.

  • Perform additional tasks or special projects as assigned by Sales leadership.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience in a related field.

  • 1–3 years of sales, merchandising, or customer service experience, preferably in wholesale apparel.

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook; experience with ERP and/or PLM systems (Centric PLM a plus).

  • Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

  • Clear written and verbal communication skills; able to interact professionally with customers and internal teams.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment while maintaining accuracy and composure.

 

COMPENSATION

At FAM Brands, we are committed to fair and transparent compensation. Salary ranges for positions are based on job level, location, and market data. We offer competitive benefits and are dedicated to equal pay for equal work. Specific salary offers depend on each candidate’s qualifications and experience. FAM Brands also offers all employees participation in our annual bonus program (Non-Sales) or commission program (Sales).

Compensation Range

$25 - $30 USD
