Job Overview

SFM is looking for an Assistant to join its London team. The role will encompass a wide range of activities, including high-level administrative support for investment professionals and the wider team, day-to-day office management, and reception support. The ideal candidate will act as a trusted partner, ensuring seamless day-to-day execution of priorities while exercising discretion, professionalism, and excellent judgment. They will join a team of two other assistants.

             

Major Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to portfolio managers/their teams, to include managing telephones, diary management, scheduling of meetings, booking and co-ordination of travel arrangements, management and submission of expenses via our Workday platform.
  • Provide support to investment teams tracking earnings calendars and company events, scheduling conference attendance and management meetings, helping manage broker relationships and helping manage data provider subscriptions and costings.
  • Reception cover, management of meeting rooms / room booking system and guest arrival, assisting with meeting and A/V set up, opening calls and providing refreshments.
  • Day to day office management support and assisting with the maintenance of a well-organized office environment.
  • Support for team event planning and ad hoc projects.

This is a full-time, 4 days in office position

 

 

We anticipate the base salary of this role to be between £55,000-63,000. In addition to a base salary, the successful candidate will also be eligible to receive a discretionary year-end bonus.
