About the Role

We are looking for an experienced HR Manager to support our growing teams across France and Germany.

This is a territory management role rather than a people management position, with responsibility for delivering HR support across both markets. You will partner closely with regional business leaders and global HR teams to ensure Fanatics’ people programs are implemented consistently while being appropriately adapted to local market requirements.

The role combines strategic partnership with hands-on execution across HR operations, employee relations, compliance, performance management and employee experience.

What You’ll Be Doing

HR Operations

  • Own core HR operations across France and Germany, including onboarding, offboarding, employee records and HR documentation.
  • Implement and maintain scalable HR policies, processes and systems in line with local legislation and company standards.
  • Act as a key point of contact for employee HR queries, benefits, policies and workplace matters.
  • Partner with payroll, finance and external providers to support payroll, benefits and employee data accuracy.
  • Support visas, work permits and employee mobility where required.
  • Monitor HR metrics and identify opportunities to improve processes, automation and operational efficiency.

Employee Relations & Compliance

  • Advise managers and employees on employee relations, performance management and workplace matters.
  • Manage disciplinary, grievance, performance and investigation processes with consistency and confidentiality.
  • Ensure compliance with French and German employment legislation, GDPR and internal policies.
  • Draft and review employment contracts, employee letters and HR documentation.
  • Partner with Legal, Finance and leadership teams to identify and mitigate employment risk.
  • Monitor changes in local labour legislation and update policies and practices accordingly.
  • Support employee exits, including resignations, terminations and exit processes.

Employee Experience & Culture

  • Partner with global HR teams to deliver engagement, culture and retention initiatives locally.
  • Support employee surveys, feedback programs, onboarding and local employee experience initiatives.
  • Coordinate team events, workshops, town halls and company celebrations.
  • Support day-to-day office and workplace requirements, including facilities, vendors and office services.

What We’re Looking For

    • 5+ years’ HR experience, ideally within an HR Generalist or HRBP capacity in a fast-paced environment.
    • Strong experience supporting employees and leaders across France and Germany.
    • Fluent French and English; German language capability is highly advantageous.
    • Strong knowledge of employee relations, performance management and HR operations.
    • Good understanding of French and German employment law, compliance and HR risk.
    • Comfortable operating independently across multiple markets and balancing strategic priorities with hands-on delivery.
    • Strong communication, stakeholder management and problem-solving skills.
    • Highly organised and comfortable working in a dynamic, growing organisation.
    • 5 days onsite in our Paris office

Base Salary Range: €67,800 – €83,050 gross annually. Final offer will depend on skills, experience, internal equity, and location (where applicable).
