As we continue to scale our global platform, the Operations Supervisor will play a critical role in driving manufacturing efficiency and team performance within custom sports jersey operations.
ROLE OVERVIEW
Fanatics Commerce is seeking energetic and analytical Operations Supervisors to join our custom sports jersey manufacturing facility in Fairdale, KY — a modern 210K sq ft environment specializing in Made to Order (MTO) production. In this role, you will provide vital team leadership and strategic operational support across shipping, receiving, and MTO processing while safeguarding and growing an exceptional team culture. The Operations Supervisor delivers business and fan impact through BOLD leadership and execution excellence, leveraging data, automation, and AI-enabled insights.

Team & Leadership Impact (Build Championship Teams)
Cross-Functional Leadership:
- Partner with HR Manager and Ops Leadership to coordinate personnel matters including vacation approvals, timecard management, daily and weekly overtime, hiring, and training initiatives.
- Assist Ops Management in the development and implementation of operational policies and procedures to support a consistent, high-performing environment.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to resolve personnel issues and drive alignment between shift operations and broader organizational goals.
People Leadership:
- Train, motivate, coach, reward, and manage supervised team members to consistently meet and exceed productivity, reliability, and accuracy standards.
- Forecast staffing needs to meet evolving business demands and actively participate in interviews and the hiring process.
- Maintain accountability for employee performance, quality output, and individual development, fostering a culture of growth and engagement on the floor.
Fan & Customer Impact (Obsessed with Fans)
- Maintain a high degree of visibility and accessibility on the distribution center floor throughout every shift to ensure team alignment and timely issue resolution.
- Uphold department standards for productivity, reliability, and accuracy to consistently deliver high-quality custom jersey orders to fans on time.
- Supervise all shipping, receiving, and MTO processing activities to ensure seamless order fulfillment and a premium fan experience.
- Review, prioritize, and organize all operational activities during the shift to minimize disruption and maintain output quality for every fan order.
Innovation & Problem Solving (Limitless Entrepreneurial Spirit)
- Develop and implement ongoing process improvements to drive departmental efficiency and elevate operational performance.
- Perform and navigate workflow math for production monitoring, planning, and reporting, translating data into actionable operational decisions.
- Maintain and grow a working knowledge of all operating systems pertaining to the work area, proactively identifying opportunities to leverage technology.
- Analyze large amounts of operational data to develop and execute business plans that address emerging challenges and capitalize on efficiencies.
Ownership & Execution (Determined & Relentless Mindset)
- Maintain and create various operational reports and correspondence to keep leadership informed and accountable to shift-level performance metrics.
- Maintain safety programs and ensure all required safety training is completed for the team, always enforcing compliance with safety guidelines.
- Manage day-to-day operational activities with a relentless focus on execution, holding the team accountable to established standards throughout every shift.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by management, demonstrating flexibility and a solutions-first mindset in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

CAPABILITIES & EXPERIENCE YOU BRING
Required Qualifications:
- Demonstrated ability to perform and navigate workflow math for production monitoring, planning, and reporting in a fast-paced operations environment.
- Proven success gathering and analyzing large amounts of operational data to develop and execute business plans.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications, with particular strength in Excel for reporting, tracking, and analysis.
- Previous experience leading teams in a distribution, manufacturing, or fulfillment environment, with accountability for performance, quality, and development.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to train, motivate, coach, and manage a diverse hourly workforce.
- Ability to maintain and grow a positive team culture while managing personnel issues in partnership with HR and Ops Leadership.
- Fluency in both English and Spanish is preferred.
Education:
- Associate degree and/or 1–3 years of highly relevant experience leading teams in an operations or manufacturing environment.

Remote: As a fully remote role, the primary place of performance will be your residence or other approved remote location.
