As we continue to scale our global platform, the Senior Software Engineer will play a critical role in maintaining and modernizing legacy Order Fulfillment and Light Manufacturing systems for the Miramar Supply Chain Tech team.

ROLE OVERVIEW

Fanatics is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the Miramar Supply Chain Tech team in Hyderabad, focused on sustaining and evolving critical ERP and fulfillment systems built on Microsoft Dynamics SL and a portfolio of .NET applications. This role is central to ensuring the stability of Order Management, Inventory, and Fulfillment workflows while driving integration with modern platforms such as Manhattan Active and enabling a thoughtful transition away from legacy architecture. The Senior Software Engineer delivers business and fan impact through BOLD leadership and execution excellence, leveraging data, automation, and AI-enabled insights.

HOW WILL YOU DRIVE IMPACT

Success is measured by the ability to deliver results through BOLD capabilities and measurable outcomes.

Team & Leadership Impact (Build Championship Teams)

  • Lead and participate in design reviews and peer code reviews, setting a standard for engineering quality across the Miramar Supply Chain Tech team.
  • Collaborate closely with business analysts, cloud and on-prem partner teams, and cross-functional stakeholders to align technical solutions with operational requirements.
  • Coordinate and synchronize all changes across QC and production environments, ensuring reliable delivery and minimal disruption to critical supply chain operations.

Fan & Customer Impact (Obsessed with Fans)

  • Support ERP workflows through Dynamics SL that directly power Order Management, Inventory Control, and Fulfillment — capabilities that underpin the on-time delivery of merchandise to fans globally.
  • Provide incident resolution and break-fix support for all Miramar systems, minimizing downtime and maintaining a seamless fulfillment experience.
  • Translate business requirements into technical solutions that improve order accuracy, inventory visibility, and fulfillment speed for fans and retail partners.
  • Integrate legacy systems with platforms like Manhattan Active to enable a more modern, reliable, and scalable customer fulfillment experience.

Innovation & Problem Solving (Limitless Entrepreneurial Spirit)

  • Build APIs and wrapper services that bridge legacy ERP functionality with modern cloud and on-prem platforms, extending system capability without disrupting live operations.
  • Document legacy business logic and contribute to migration planning, helping chart a clear path from current-state systems to next-generation solutions.
  • Evaluate and apply event streaming platforms (Kafka, Pulsar, ActiveMQ, RabbitMQ, SQS) and CI/CD tooling to improve system integration and deployment reliability.
  • Deliver full-stack solutions across the entire lifecycle — from inception through UAT to production — using modern frameworks and containerization practices.

Ownership & Execution (Determined & Relentless Mindset)

  • Maintain version control for all custom applications and ensure all code is archived, documented in GitHub, and tracked through Jira and Confluence.
  • Manage SQL Server stored procedures and optimize SQL views and queries, troubleshooting and resolving job or runtime errors as they arise.
  • Take ownership of existing workflows and support them using the tools already in place, learning rapidly and acting decisively to keep systems stable.
  • Operate effectively under pressure, solving complex problems in mission-critical environments while maintaining clear documentation and communication throughout.

AI & DIGITAL CAPABILITY

We are building a future-ready organization. This role is expected to:

  • Apply AI and technology to improve efficiency, quality, and outcomes
  • Use data and digital tools to inform decisions and enhance performance
  • Demonstrate curiosity and adaptability in adopting new technologies and ways of working
  • Contribute to a culture of innovation and continuous improvement

CAPABILITIES & EXPERIENCE YOU BRING

Required Qualifications:

  • Five or more years of software development experience using agile methodology, with at least five years supporting legacy ERP and fulfillment software.
  • Hands-on experience with ERP domains including Order Management, Inventory Control, and Fulfillment — preferably within Microsoft Dynamics SL or comparable platforms.
  • Proficiency with SQL Server stored procedures, query optimization, and troubleshooting SQL job or runtime errors.
  • Experience writing production software in one or more of the following languages: C#, Java, Go, or Python, with access to relational databases.
  • Familiarity with GitHub or GitLab, containerization, and CI/CD pipelines; experience with event streaming platforms such as Kafka, Pulsar, ActiveMQ, RabbitMQ, or SQS is strongly preferred.
  • Understanding of APIs, integration patterns, and batch-driven workflows, with demonstrated ability to build wrapper services connecting legacy and modern systems.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to solve problems effectively under pressure across cross-functional teams.

Education:

Bachelor’s in computer science, Computer Engineering, or a related field required.
