ROLE OVERVIEW
The Dock Clerk is a key player in managing the flow of goods in and out of the receiving department, ensuring proper communication with various teams, tracking shipments, managing schedules, and adhering to all safety and operational policies. This role requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to handle multiple tasks in a dynamic warehouse environment. HOW WILL YOU DRIVE IMPACT
Success is measured by the ability to deliver results through BOLD capabilities and measurable outcomes.
Team & Leadership Impact (Build Championship Teams)

• Maintain clear communication with cross-functional departments including planning and transportation to support smooth, uninterrupted shipping operations.
• Partner with team members to identify and resolve discrepancies or damage at the dock, coordinating necessary corrective actions promptly.
Fan & Customer Impact (Obsessed with Fans)
• Ensure all receiving documents — including bills of lading, invoices, and packing lists — are complete and accurate to prevent errors in logistics and product distribution that could impact the fan experience.
• Physically verify goods against shipping documents to confirm quantities and descriptions are correct, safeguarding product integrity for the end consumer.
• Contribute to the on-time delivery of officially licensed merchandise by maintaining efficient dock operations and minimizing processing delays.
• Support accurate order fulfillment by maintaining precise data records and inventory control system entries throughout the receiving process.
Innovation & Problem Solving (Limitless Entrepreneurial Spirit)
• Utilize inventory control systems, barcode scanners, and RFID systems to verify and track goods, identifying opportunities to improve accuracy and processing speed.
• Leverage warehouse management systems including FMS, DMS, and TMS to streamline dock operations and proactively surface issues before they escalate.
• Observe, report, and help resolve loading discrepancies and damage incidents, applying analytical thinking to root-cause identification and continuous improvement.
• Bring a solutions-oriented mindset to a fast-paced environment, adapting to fluctuating volume and operational demands with agility.
Ownership & Execution (Determined & Relentless Mindset)
• Oversee the loading of containers and packages at the docks, ensuring goods are properly and safely loaded onto transportation vehicles in compliance with all operational policies.
• Accurately sum up, record, and update data across systems, maintaining a high standard of data integrity throughout all dock-related processes.
• Demonstrate dependability and reliability by consistently meeting deadlines and fulfilling shift requirements, including overtime as necessary.
• Operate as a PIT (Powered Industrial Truck) certified team member — or actively pursue certification — to safely support dock operations and maintain a safe working environment.
