Senior Product Manager, Made To Order & Embellishment

Fanatics Commerce is the global leader in licensed sports merchandise, operating a vertically integrated platform that designs, manufactures, and delivers officially licensed apparel, jerseys, headwear, and collectibles for major leagues, teams, and events worldwide. With more than 900 e-commerce sites and a global omnichannel presence across digital, in-venue, and retail, Fanatics Commerce reaches fans in over 180 countries and powers official fan experiences for many of the world's most iconic sports properties.

At Fanatics, we bring our BOLD Leadership Principles to life every day—building championship teams, obsessing over fans, acting with limitless entrepreneurial spirit, and delivering with a determined and relentless mindset.

As we continue to scale our global platform, the Senior Product Manager, MTO & Embellishment will play a critical role in owning the product strategy and roadmap powering Fanatics Commerce's made-to-order decoration network.

ROLE OVERVIEW

The Senior Product Manager, MTO & Embellishment owns the product strategy, roadmap, and delivery for the systems that power Fanatics Commerce's high-velocity decoration network — including the Shop Floor execution platform, Work Order management within the ERP, and the integrations connecting order intake to decoration execution to fulfillment. Operating as a senior individual contributor, this role works directly with engineering, supply chain operations, manufacturing leadership, and ERP/WMS teams to drive throughput, quality, and speed across embroidery, screen print, tackle twill, heat press, and sublimation operations at scale. The Senior Product Manager, MTO & Embellishment delivers business and fan impact through BOLD leadership and execution excellence, leveraging data, automation, and AI-enabled insights.

HOW WILL YOU DRIVE IMPACT

Success is measured by the ability to deliver results through BOLD capabilities and measurable outcomes.

Team & Leadership Impact *(Build Championship Teams)*

  • Partner closely with Engineering Leads, QA, and Operations teams to scope platform scalability, plan for future growth, and ensure integrations are delivered on time, to spec, and with minimal disruption to production systems.
  • Manage dependencies and drive alignment across stakeholders in complex, multi-system programs spanning multiple teams and domains — including Operations, Process Engineering, Art, Finance, and software vendors.
  • Collaborate with project managers and software vendors to execute the migration to a new Shop Floor Control (SFC) platform, ensuring requirements, process, and delivery hit on-time, on-budget milestones.

Fan & Customer Impact *(Obsessed with Fans)*

  • Ensure orders flowing through eCommerce, wholesale, and in-venue channels are created, routed, tracked, transferred, and closed accurately across the manufacturing lifecycle — enabling fans to receive the right product, on time, every time.
  • Build visibility and exception management tools that production supervisors and network planners rely on daily to keep orders on schedule across peak events and high-velocity periods.
  • Own Decoration Network routing logic to ensure orders reach the right decorator — internal or third-party — at the right time, with capacity signals and KPI tracking in place to surface exceptions before they impact fulfillment.
  • Navigate peak event planning and operational resilience requirements to protect on-time delivery during the highest-stakes moments in the sports calendar.

Innovation & Problem Solving *(Limitless Entrepreneurial Spirit)*

  • Champion AI-powered ways of working to drive innovation, improve delivery velocity, and push the boundaries of what the MTO & Embellishment platform can do.
  • Drive the modernization of legacy integration platforms to ensure uniformity and reliability across the ecosystem, replacing fragile point-to-point connections with scalable, observable integrations.
  • Use data and experimentation to continuously identify opportunities for automation, cost savings, and operational efficiency across the manufacturing lifecycle.
  • Onboard new third-party decorators and build routing intelligence into the platform so the decoration network scales with the business without proportional increases in operational overhead.

Ownership & Execution *(Determined & Relentless Mindset)*

  • Define, build, and own the MTO & Embellishment platform — roadmap, capabilities, operator experience, stakeholder alignment, and integrations — ensuring support for eCommerce and wholesale operations at scale.
  • Translate business needs into product requirements, epics, and success metrics; lead backlog prioritization with Engineering teams to plan and execute with discipline.
  • Monitor platform health, proactively surface insights that drive improvements, and ensure integration events and data flows are observable, measurable, and actionable across the ecosystem.
  • Ensure compliance with SDLC, privacy, and security standards globally across all platform work.

AI & DIGITAL CAPABILITY

We are building a future-ready organization. This role is expected to:

  • Apply AI and technology to improve efficiency, quality, and outcomes
  • Use data and digital tools to inform decisions and enhance performance
  • Demonstrate curiosity and adaptability in adopting new technologies and ways of working
  • Contribute to a culture of innovation and continuous improvement

CAPABILITIES & EXPERIENCE YOU BRING

Required Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of product management experience, with at least 3 years in a manufacturing, supply chain, or operations technology domain — including hands-on ownership of a manufacturing execution system (MES), WMS, or similar operational platform, ideally in a high-SKU, make-to-order environment.
  • Demonstrated experience working within or alongside an ERP program, with strong working knowledge of Work Order or production order constructs and the data models that underpin them.
  • Proven track record of delivering in complex, multi-stakeholder environments where operations teams are the primary customer, including managing cross-functional alignment across tech, ops, and finance.
  • Strong process mapping and requirements decomposition skills — able to translate messy operational reality into clean, unambiguous system requirements without losing fidelity to how the shop floor actually works.
  • Technical fluency sufficient to hold substantive conversations with engineers and integration architects; comfortable interrogating data pipelines, integration events, and system architecture without needing to write code.
  • Data-fluent: able to define metrics, build and interrogate dashboards, and use quantitative insight to drive roadmap prioritization and surface root causes ahead of escalations.
  • Bias toward operational outcomes over feature delivery, with a willingness to get into the detail when it matters and a track record of owning defined product surfaces end-to-end as a senior individual contributor.

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
