You will partner closely with product, design, backend, data, and platform teams to deliver reliable, performant, and measurable full-stack experiences end to end, with a focus on search, recommendations, merchandising, promotions, and product discovery. The Software Engineer III, FanApp delivers business and fan impact through BOLD leadership and execution excellence, leveraging data, automation, and AI-enabled
insights.

HOW WILL YOU DRIVE IMPACT
Success is measured by the ability to deliver results through BOLD capabilities and measurable outcomes.

Team & Leadership Impact (Build Championship Teams)
• Partner with product managers, designers, and engineers across teams to translate business goals into scalable technical solutions and deliver them with high quality.
• Contribute to code reviews, documentation, automation, and engineering best practices that raise the team's overall quality bar.
• Take ownership of well-scoped projects, drive execution from design through launch, and actively help improve team efficiency and delivery quality.

Fan & Customer Impact (Obsessed with Fans)
• Design, build, test, and ship high-quality user experiences across FanApp surfaces — including search, recommendations, merchandising, promotions, and product discovery.
• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, improve app responsiveness, and help create exceptional, conversion-driving fan experiences.
• Implement instrumentation and eventing that help the team understand fan behavior, feature adoption, experimentation outcomes, and funnel performance.
• Support production excellence by debugging issues, improving observability, and contributing to a strong quality and release culture.

Innovation & Problem Solving (Limitless Entrepreneurial Spirit)
• Build robust integrations with backend APIs and services, with careful attention to performance, reliability, and
maintainability.
• Apply experimentation, A/B testing, and analytics to inform product decisions and continuously improve discovery
and conversion experiences.
• Explore and adopt modern patterns — including Server-driven UI, personalization systems, and high-scale
ecommerce techniques — to push FanApp forward.
• Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to automate, instrument, and
optimize engineering workflows and fan-facing surfaces.

Ownership & Execution (Determined & Relentless Mindset)
• Write clean, well-tested, maintainable code and consistently deliver well-scoped features with strong quality and measurable impact.
• Drive execution end to end — from technical design through launch — with a bias toward clear communication, sound judgment, and on-time delivery.
• Support a strong release and quality culture through proactive debugging, improved observability, and accountability for production health.
• Help FanApp ship better discovery and conversion experiences for fans through thoughtful product engineering and close cross-functional collaboration.

AI & DIGITAL CAPABILITY
We are building a future-ready organization. This role is expected to:
• Apply AI and technology to improve efficiency, quality, and outcomes
• Use data and digital tools to inform decisions and enhance performance
• Demonstrate curiosity and adaptability in adopting new technologies and ways of working
• Contribute to a culture of innovation and continuous improvement

CAPABILITIES & EXPERIENCE YOU BRING
Required Qualifications:
• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience building consumer-facing applications or platforms.
• Strong experience with modern frontend development technologies and patterns, including component-based UI development and API-driven applications.
• Solid foundation in JavaScript or TypeScript and experience building maintainable, scalable user-facing systems.
• Experience integrating with backend services using RESTful APIs and building resilient client-side data flows.
• Experience with Go, Java, or similar programming languages.
• Experience writing unit and integration tests and contributing to a culture of code quality and continuous improvement.
• Strong problem-solving, debugging, collaboration, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Server-driven UI.
• Experience with search, recommendations, personalization, experimentation, or merchandising systems.
• Familiarity with A/B testing, analytics, and event instrumentation for consumer products.
• Experience improving performance, observability, and release quality for customer-facing applications.
• Experience working in cross-functional product and engineering teams in a fast-paced environment.

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
