As we continue to scale our global platform, the Senior Sourcing Operations Analyst will play a critical role in driving end-to-end purchase order execution and delivery-risk management across vendors, programs, and product areas.
ROLE OVERVIEW
The Senior Sourcing Operations Analyst is a senior individual contributor responsible for end-to-end purchase order execution and delivery-risk management across assigned vendors, programs, and product areas, owning complex and time-sensitive orders from buy issuance through distribution center receipt and closure. Based in the Tampa office, this role serves as a primary operational connection between Sourcing Operations, Planning, Retail Services, Logistics, sourcing hubs, vendors, distribution centers, and other business partners — using operational data and sound judgment to identify risks early, coordinate resolution, and protect customer service and in-DC timing. The Senior Sourcing Operations Analyst delivers business and fan impact through BOLD leadership and execution excellence, leveraging data, automation, and AI-enabled insights.
HOW WILL YOU DRIVE IMPACT
Success is measured by the ability to deliver results through BOLD capabilities and measurable outcomes.
Team & Leadership Impact (Build Championship Teams)
- Serve as a senior operational resource for analysts and cross-functional partners on PO execution, system maintenance, delivery-risk assessment, and exception management, providing guidance, coaching, and practical problem-solving support on complex or escalated work.
- Help establish consistent execution standards across vendor assignments, leagues, programs, and seasonal buy activity, and lead or facilitate working sessions, issue reviews, and special projects that require coordination across Tampa, sourcing hubs, vendors, Logistics, Planning, Retail Services, and distribution centers.
- Build productive working relationships with global partners while maintaining clear accountability for Tampa-owned actions and deliverables.
Fan & Customer Impact (Obsessed with Fans)
- Identify risks to customer-requested dates, start-ship dates, in-DC dates, service levels, and seasonal milestones before they become business-impacting issues, and lead timely communication on delays, revised dates, shortages, cancellations, and recovery options.
- Ensure timely and accurate handoffs among Tampa Sourcing Operations, sourcing hubs, vendors, Logistics, Planning, Retail Services, and downstream partners so that fans receive orders accurately and on time.
- Monitor open orders through shipment and receipt, ensuring unresolved issues are documented, assigned, escalated, and closed to protect on-time delivery and OTIF performance.
- Coordinate with Logistics and distribution center partners to address receiving disruptions and protect the continuous flow of goods to fans.
Innovation & Problem Solving (Limitless Entrepreneurial Spirit)
- Identify process gaps and recommend practical improvements that strengthen visibility, accuracy, control, responsiveness, and execution speed across the sourcing lifecycle.
- Support system enhancements, reporting automation, workflow standardization, and clearer ownership, and document standard work, operating procedures, and escalation paths to support training and rollout of approved process changes.
- Produce and maintain reliable trackers, dashboards, and recurring operational reporting on PO status, buy issuance, on-time performance, pushouts, shortages, and shipment readiness — analyzing trends, root causes, and emerging risks to drive continuous improvement.
- Lead or contribute to special projects that improve on-time performance, reduce rework, increase data quality, or improve speed-to-market.
Ownership & Execution (Determined & Relentless Mindset)
- Own assigned import bulk, planned-capacity, and sample purchase orders from buy release through distribution center receipt and closure, creating, revising, and maintaining accurate PO data including customer-requested dates, due dates, ship-via methods, item IDs, facility IDs, and ship-to IDs.
- Resolve complex order exceptions involving delayed CRDs, shipment-mode changes, air or vessel requests, direct-ship needs, manual shipments, ASN issues, shortages, carton-label problems, item or publication changes, reassociation, and PO closure.
- Escalate issues with clear facts, business impact, recommended actions, and defined ownership rather than simply reporting the problem, and maintain accurate system records so all stakeholders are working from the latest delivery and order information.
- Support KPI development and reporting related to PO accuracy, cycle time, delivery performance, risk-resolution timeliness, data quality, and cross-functional responsiveness.
AI & DIGITAL CAPABILITY
We are building a future-ready organization. This role is expected to:
- Apply AI and technology to improve efficiency, quality, and outcomes
- Use data and digital tools to inform decisions and enhance performance
- Demonstrate curiosity and adaptability in adopting new technologies and ways of working
- Contribute to a culture of innovation and continuous improvement
CAPABILITIES & EXPERIENCE YOU BRING
Required Qualifications:
- Five or more years of relevant experience in sourcing operations, supply chain, procurement, production operations, planning, purchase order management, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
- Strong experience managing purchase orders, delivery timelines, WIP information, operational data, and execution exceptions in a fast-paced environment.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and confidence working with complex data tables, trackers, and operational reporting.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, prioritization, and decision-making skills, with the ability to interpret operational data and convert it into clear actions, risks, recommendations, and escalation points.
- Demonstrated ownership, urgency, follow-through, and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and service-level focus.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with vendors, global sourcing partners, and senior internal stakeholders.
- Preferred: experience with import purchase orders, apparel or licensed products, vendor communication, production tracking, logistics, and distribution center receipt processes; experience with ERP, PLM, FMS, Replengine, or business-intelligence tools; and experience coaching analysts, leading process improvements, or serving as a subject-matter expert.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business, operations, procurement, industrial engineering, or a related field preferred.
