- Ensure accurate identification and handling of sensitive data, including validating completeness of DSR responses and deletions.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies in DSR processing, including mismatches across systems or incomplete data removals.
- Build and maintain datasets, queries, and workflows that support privacy operations and audit readiness.
- Assist in defining and improving processes for data deletion, retention, and access controls.
- Contribute to documentation of data flows, system dependencies, and privacy-related logic.
- Support audits and compliance reviews by providing data validation, traceability, and supporting analysis.
- Collaborate with Data Engineering and Analytics teams to improve data accessibility while maintaining privacy safeguards.
- Flex across team priorities, contributing to broader data initiatives including data quality, reporting, and operational support as needed.
Qualifications
- 3–5 years of experience as a Data Analyst, BI Analyst, or similar role.
- Strong SQL skills with experience querying large, complex datasets across multiple systems.
- Hands-on experience with data privacy operations, particularly DSRs (access, deletion, or correction requests).
- Understanding of privacy regulations such as GDPR and CCPA, and how they apply to data workflows.
- Experience working with PII and sensitive data, including best practices for handling, masking, and validation.
- Proven ability to trace data across systems and understand end-to-end data flows.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to investigate and resolve data issues independently.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing needs.
