Fanatics Betting & Gaming is building one of the most ambitious and customer-focused sportsbooks in the industry. We combine product excellence, deep sports expertise, and cutting-edge technology to create seamless, high-performance betting experiences at scale. As part of a fast-growing and highly competitive market, we are committed to delivering intuitive, reliable, and differentiated products that customers trust and return to every day.

The Role

We are looking for a Product Director to join the Fanatics Betting & Gaming Sportsbook team. This is a senior leadership role where Product, Design, and Engineering work closely together to deliver exceptional customer experiences. As part of one of the fastest-growing sportsbooks in the industry, you will play a critical role in shaping and evolving one of the most important customer journeys within our platform.

You will own the end-to-end strategy, vision, and execution for a critical, high-frequency area of the sportsbook experience. You'll define how customers discover, engage with, and transact through our product—ensuring every interaction is intuitive, reliable, scalable, and commercially impactful.

Just as importantly, you'll build and lead a high-performing product organisation. You'll manage, coach and develop Product Managers, create clear growth opportunities for both managers and individual contributors, and foster a culture of accountability, customer obsession, and continuous improvement. Success in this role will be measured not only by the products you deliver, but by the strength of the team you build.

You'll collaborate closely with leaders across Engineering, Design, Data, Trading, Commercial, Marketing, CRM, and Operations to evolve key customer journeys, solve complex business problems, and deliver measurable outcomes through insight, experimentation, and exceptional product judgment.

The ideal candidate is an exceptional people leader and product strategist who enjoys building teams as much as building products. You'll combine outstanding product craft with executive presence, commercial thinking, and the ability to influence across all levels of the organisation.

What You'll Do

As a Product Director, you will define and drive the strategy for a critical area of the sportsbook, ensuring it delivers exceptional customer value and measurable business impact.

  • Partner with Product and Commercial leadership to understand the long-term business strategy and translate it into a compelling product vision and roadmap for your domain.
  • Own and evolve a multi-year product strategy, balancing innovation, optimisation, scalability, operational excellence, and commercial impact.
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of Product Managers, creating an environment where individuals are challenged, supported, and able to grow into the next stage of their careers.
  • Build a high-performing product organisation by raising the quality of product thinking, encouraging ownership, and creating a culture of continuous learning and accountability.
  • Prepare and deliver clear, structured executive presentations that communicate strategy, roadmap priorities, performance insights, and key trade-offs through compelling, data-driven narratives.
  • Lead multiple product teams, providing strategic direction, clear prioritisation, and coaching to enable high-quality execution.
  • Establish clear customer and business outcomes for your teams and create accountability through measurable results.
  • Embed customer insight, experimentation, and analytics into product decisions, continually raising the bar for product craft across your organisation.
  • Partner closely with Engineering leadership to ensure the reliability, scalability, and performance of high-traffic transactional systems.
  • Work across Data, CRM, Commercial, Platform, Trading, and Operations teams to deliver cross-functional initiatives and align investments with enterprise priorities.
  • Clearly communicate strategy, priorities, trade-offs, and risk to senior leadership, influencing decisions through structured thinking and sound product judgment.
  • Build organisational capability through effective delegation, coaching, succession planning, and developing future product leaders.
  • Proactively manage dependencies and sequencing across complex systems, ensuring alignment without compromising pace or delivery.

This role requires a strategic mindset, deep product expertise, commercial acumen, and the ability to operate confidently at both executive and execution levels. You'll be equally comfortable shaping long-term strategy, coaching leaders, and helping teams solve difficult product problems.

What We're Looking For

  • 10+ years of experience in Product Management, ideally leading complex, high-scale, customer-facing digital products.
  • Proven experience leading multiple Product Managers or Product Leaders, with a genuine passion for coaching, mentoring, and developing high-performing teams.
  • Experience building healthy product organisations by raising product craft, improving ways of working, and creating an environment where great product managers can thrive.
  • Demonstrated ownership of high-frequency, transactional customer experiences with measurable commercial impact.
  • Strong commercial acumen and expertise in data-driven product development, experimentation, and customer insight.
  • A structured, strategic thinker who can navigate complexity and make clear, high-quality trade-off decisions.
  • Outstanding executive communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and align cross-functional leaders.
  • Experience attracting, developing, and retaining exceptional product talent.
  • Comfortable balancing strategic leadership with hands-on involvement when needed.
  • Experience operating in fast-paced, high-growth environments with significant scale and performance requirements.
  • Experience in sports betting, gaming, fintech, ecommerce, or similarly complex digital platforms is preferred.

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
