About the Team

Launched in 2021, Fanatics Betting and Gaming is the online and retail sports betting subsidiary of Fanatics, a global digital sports platform. The Fanatics Sportsbook is available to 95% of the addressable online sports bettor market in the U.S. Fanatics Casino is currently available online in Michigan, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and West Virginia. Fanatics Betting and Gaming operates twenty-two retail sports betting locations, including the only sportsbook inside an NFL stadium at Northwest Stadium. Fanatics Betting and Gaming is headquartered in New York with offices in Denver, Leeds and Dublin.

We're hiring a Director, Creator Management to build and run the creator layer inside the Content & Social org: who Fanatics Sports & Casino works with, what they make, and how that output compounds into reach and cultural relevance. This role owns the creator program end to end and directly manages the paid amplification function that scales creator output into awareness.

What You'll Own

Creator Program Strategy

  • Define the creator roster architecture across tiers (owned talent, retained creators, one-off collabs) mapped against Fanatics Sports & Casino and Fanatics App brand mandates
  • Set selection criteria and refresh cadence for the roster, prioritizing creators whose content already shows organic traction and cultural fit over reach alone
  • Own the creator content calendar in partnership with Programming/Real-Time Response, so creator output is timed against moment-driven opportunities rather than produced in isolation

Relationships & Deal Structuring

  • Negotiate and manage creator contracts, usage rights, and exclusivity terms
  • Build and maintain direct relationships with top-tier creators and their representation
  • Set the threshold and criteria for which creator content qualifies for paid amplification support

Content Amplification Oversight

  • Manage the Senior Manager, Content Amplification as a direct report, setting quarterly amplification priorities against the creator content calendar
  • Review and approve the amplification budget forecast built against content calendar and moment-driven spend
  • Hold the boundary the amplification function is built on: no SUO, promo code, or conversion mechanic runs through creator-driven paid spend. Anything with a payback requirement routes to Performance Media

Measurement

  • Report against reach, non-follower reach, engagement, and share of voice at the portfolio level
  • Own unaided awareness and brand favorability lift attributable to the creator program, split by Fanatics Sports & Casino and Fanatics App
  • Track roster efficiency: cost per creator relationship against reach and awareness delivered, not against conversion volume

What You'll Bring

  • 8-10 years in creator/influencer marketing or talent partnerships, ideally with direct experience in sports, betting, gaming, or a comparably fast-moving, discourse-heavy category
  • A track record of building or scaling a creator program from a small roster into a structured, multi-tier operation
  • Direct experience negotiating creator/talent contracts, usage rights, and exclusivity terms
  • Fluency in creator/content metrics (reach, engagement, non-follower reach, share of voice) and the ability to connect them to awareness outcomes
  • Experience managing creator programs at volume (sourcing, vetting, negotiating, briefing) rather than one-off influencer campaigns
  • Comfort operating in regulated/compliance-heavy content environments (gaming, finance, alcohol, or similar) is a strong plus
  • Direct people management experience - this role manages the Senior Manager, Content Amplification and will scale to additional creator ops headcount

Depending on the role, your interview and onboarding experience may include in-person components, such as onsite interviews or Launching into Better: LIVE—a multi-day cultural immersion in New York City for full-time, non-seasonal hires. These sessions are designed to build connection and bring our culture to life, though specific travel and participation requirements will be confirmed based on your role and location. Your recruiter will provide clear guidance at each stage of the process.
