About the Team

Launched in 2021, Fanatics Betting and Gaming is the online and retail sports betting subsidiary of Fanatics, a global digital sports platform. The Fanatics Sportsbook is available to 95% of the addressable online sports bettor market in the U.S. Fanatics Casino is currently available online in Michigan, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and West Virginia. Fanatics Betting and Gaming operates twenty-two retail sports betting locations, including the only sportsbook inside an NFL stadium at Northwest Stadium. Fanatics Betting and Gaming is headquartered in New York with offices in Denver, Leeds and Dublin.

We're looking for a seasonal Technical Sourcer to join our Engineering Talent Team and help manage top-of-funnel recruiting activity during a period of high hiring volume. This role is ideal for someone earlier in their recruiting career who wants hands-on experience with high-volume applicant management and phone screening, working closely with a Lead Recruiter and Engineering hiring teams.

What You'll Do

  • Build diverse, high-quality talent pipelines through proactive outreach, talent mapping, and creative sourcing channels to attract top technical talent
  • Leverage creative lead-generation techniques and nontraditional sourcing channels to uncover overlooked, high-potential, and hard-to-find talent
  • Develop thoughtful, targeted outreach strategies that engage even the most passive candidates and build long-term relationships with high-priority talent
  • Own top-of-funnel activity for assigned engineering requisitions, with a focus on inbound applications
  • Review incoming applications and evaluate candidates against role requirements
  • Conduct initial phone screens to assess candidate qualifications, experience, and interest
  • Partner closely with the Lead Recruiter to align on role priorities, candidate criteria, and pipeline goals
  • Coordinate with engineering hiring managers and interview teams to ensure a smooth and timely candidate experience
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records in the ATS (Greenhouse or equivalent)
  • Provide regular pipeline updates and flag any bottlenecks or trends in applicant flow
  • Deliver a positive, professional candidate experience at every touchpoint

What We're Looking For

  • 2+ years of technical sourcing or recruiting experience, with a proven track record of successfully hiring for engineering or other technical roles (agency or in-house)
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Comfortable managing a high volume of applications and candidates simultaneously
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with recruiters and engineering stakeholders
  • Familiarity with ATS platforms (e.g., Greenhouse) is a plus, but not required
  • Experience working in fast pace startup environment is a plus, but not required
  • Interest in growing a career in technical recruiting

Ranges will change based on country and state of residence, which are reflected in Geographical Zones defined by Fanatics Betting and Gaming. The range incorporates all of our Geographical Compensation Zones and is subject to change as the Zone associated with the actual offer is confirmed.
