About the Role 

Fanatics Events is seeking a Fanatics Games Event Marketing Consultant to support the planning, coordination, and execution of marketing efforts for Fanatics Games and the Fanatics Games Qualifiers hosted at select DICK’S House of Sport locations nationwide. 

This consultant will play a critical role in bringing the Fanatics Games brand to life across a series of high energy, fan facing qualifier events in the months leading up to Fanatics Fest, while also supporting broader Games marketing initiatives. 

This is a hands-on execution role for someone who thrives in fast paced sports environments, enjoys working on the ground at live events, and is comfortable collaborating closely with both internal teams and external partners. 

 

Responsibilities 

  • Lead day to day marketing execution for Fanatics Games Qualifier events at DICK’S House of Sport locations 
  • Support the full lifecycle of each qualifier including planning, asset development, internal coordination, onsite execution, and post event recaps 
  • Serve as a key marketing liaison with DICK’S Sporting Goods, ensuring alignment on creative, messaging, timelines, and execution standards 
  • Maintain a professional and proactive working relationship with sponsor stakeholders while balancing internal priorities 
  • Travel onsite to qualifier events to support setup, live marketing execution, fan engagement, and troubleshooting 
  • Execute tactical marketing deliverables including email marketing, social assets, event copy, and basic design support 
  • Adapt and localize marketing materials for each qualifier location while maintaining overall Fanatics Games brand consistency 
  • Partner closely with the existing Fanatics Fest marketing team to ensure thoughtful integration of Fanatics Games across all Fest marketing channels, working within established ownership structures and deployment cadences to align timing, sequencing, and prioritization of communications 
  • Coordinate cross functionally with internal teams including Event Operations, Creative, Social, Paid Media, PR, and Marketing Tech 
  • Ensure timelines, asset approvals, and sponsor deliverables remain on track 
  • Support broader Fanatics Games marketing initiatives beyond qualifiers, including launch moments, talent announcements, and promotional campaigns 
  • Develop concise and insightful post event recaps capturing attendance, engagement, performance, sponsor visibility, and key learnings 
  • Identify opportunities to elevate fan engagement and enhance the on site experience at each qualifier 

 

Skills & Requirements 

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in consumer event marketing, sports marketing, brand activations, or a related field 
  • Experience working directly with sponsors or brand partners in a collaborative, high visibility environment 
  • Strong understanding of live event marketing within sports or entertainment 
  • Excellent copywriting, communication, and stakeholder management skills 
  • Ability to navigate cross functional environments and move projects forward across multiple teams 
  • Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple qualifier events simultaneously 
  • Design capabilities with experience using Canva preferred 
  • Detail oriented, solution focused, and adaptable in fast paced environments 
  • Comfortable representing the Fanatics brand externally with partners and venue stakeholders 
  • Genuine passion for sports, competition, and fan engagement 
  • Ability to travel and work extended hours during qualifier weekends and major launch moments 

 

Engagement Details 

  • Consulting role supporting Fanatics Events through July 2026 
  • Primary focus on Fanatics Games and Fanatics Games Qualifiers 
  • Travel required based on qualifier schedule 
  • Flexibility required during live event weekends 

 

The salary range represents base pay only and does not include short-term or long-term incentive compensation.
