The Role

The Senior IT & Event Technology Specialist is a hands-on, high-visibility role on the Technology Services team, reporting to the Senior Manager of Technology Services. This role owns the day-to-day technology experience for corporate employees, supports and maintains conference room and event space AV infrastructure, and serves as the primary onsite technology resource for high-profile meetings, town halls, board events, and after-hours productions.

Working as part of the Technology Services team, you will take a lead role in organizing and supporting events while collaborating closely with teammates who share coverage and back each other up. You will also provide backup support for executive leadership during the primary resource's absence.

What You'll Do

  • Provide L1-L3 support for hardware, software, mobile devices, and enterprise applications across corporate staff.
  • Troubleshoot Windows and macOS endpoints, Microsoft 365, Outlook, Zoom, VPN (GlobalProtect), and peripheral devices.
  • Diagnose and resolve network and connectivity issues affecting day-to-day support and live event streaming.
  • Manage incidents and service requests in Jira Service Management with accurate documentation and timely communication.
  • Support onboarding and offboarding: device provisioning, account setup via Okta and Microsoft 365, software installation, and access requests.
  • Provide both remote and onsite support across Fanatics Corporate office locations.
  • Support and maintain conference room technology -- Zoom Rooms, Microsoft Teams Rooms, Neat devices, presentation systems, microphones, speakers, and displays.
  • Take a lead role in corporate event space AV readiness and reliability, including large-format displays, signage and ticker systems, and presentation and sound systems.
  • Run pre-event checks and full AV walkthroughs for board meetings, investor events, town halls, and hosted client events -- including after-hours setups.
  • Own the success of live sessions -- monitor audio, video, connectivity, and signage in real time, resolve issues on the spot, and escalate proactively to vendors or team members when needed.
  • Support custom graphics uploads, resolution validation, and display content management for branded events.
  • Coordinate with Facilities, event production vendors, and third-party AV contractors as needed for complex event builds.
  • Provide backup support for executive leadership and VIP users during the primary resource's absence -- laptops, mobile devices, conferencing platforms, and productivity tools -- with a high bar for professionalism and discretion.
  • Support endpoint management via Intune and Apple Business Manager -- deployment, patching, software delivery, and hardware lifecycle.
  • Assist with identity and access management workflows in Okta and Microsoft 365.
  • Maintain accurate asset inventory and lifecycle documentation, and contribute to runbooks and knowledge base articles.

What We're Looking For

  • 5+ years of experience in corporate or enterprise IT support with ownership of L1-L3 issues.
  • Strong troubleshooting depth across Windows, macOS, Microsoft 365, Zoom, and mobile devices.
  • Solid network and connectivity troubleshooting skills, including support for live streaming and events.
  • Hands-on experience configuring and troubleshooting conference room and AV technologies.
  • Experience supporting high-priority business stakeholders with professionalism and discretion.
  • Ability to manage multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced, event-driven environment without dropping the ball on daily support.
  • Excellent verbal communication -- able to explain technical issues clearly to both executives and non-technical staff.

Preferred Experience

  • Familiarity with Intune, Apple Business Manager, Okta, and Jira Service Management.
  • Experience with Zoom Rooms, Neat devices, Crestron, or equivalent enterprise AV control systems.
  • Comfort with display resolution specs, signage content management, and custom graphic uploads for event AV systems.
  • Experience supporting live events -- town halls, board meetings, investor days, or executive presentations.
  • IT certifications: CompTIA A+ or Network+, Microsoft, Apple, or ITIL Foundations.

Physical Requirements

This role involves hands-on event and AV work. Candidates should be able to lift and move equipment up to 50 lbs, work on ladders, and remain on their feet for extended periods during event setup and execution, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Work Environment & Schedule

This role is based at Fanatics Corporate offices in New York and operates on a hybrid schedule. Onsite presence is required during events, including some evenings and weekends for major productions and on-call coverage for critical incidents. Event and after-hours time is incorporated into the salaried role and offset by flexible work days around events. When no events are scheduled, the role offers day-to-day flexibility.

The salary range represents base pay only and does not include short-term or long-term incentive compensation. When determining base pay as part of a final compensation package, we consider several factors such as location, experience, qualifications, and training. For information about our benefits, please visit https://benefitsatfanatics.com/

Form CC-305
OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
