
Senior Manager, Sales Operations

Your Role:
As a Senior Manager, Sales Operations, you’ll be working with some of the industry’s brightest minds to drive the success of our sales organization by designing policies, optimizing operations, managing incentive programs, reconciling customer payments, and providing strategic insights.
Basically, you’ll be the engine behind our sales team — building the systems, tools, and momentum that enable our sales force to focus on what they do best: delighting our customers and driving growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Policy Development and Implementation:
- Develop, review, and refine sales policies to align with company objectives and market conditions.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Communicate policies effectively to the sales team and other relevant stakeholders.
Incentive Program Management:
- Design and manage sales incentive programs to motivate the sales team and achieve sales targets.
- Analyze the effectiveness of incentive programs and recommend adjustments as needed.
- Collaborate with finance and HR departments to ensure accurate and timely incentive payouts.
Sales Operations Oversight:
- Oversee day-to-day sales operations and processes.
- Monitor sales performance metrics and KPIs to identify areas for improvement.
- Implement best practices to streamline operations and enhance efficiency.
Customer Payment Reconciliation:
- Coordinate with the finance department to reconcile customer payments and resolve any discrepancies.
- Ensure accurate recording and reporting of sales transactions.
- Work closely with sales teams to address payment issues and improve the collections process.
Sales Forecasting and Reporting:
- Develop sales forecasts and projections based on market trends and historical data.
- Prepare regular sales reports and presentations for senior management.
- Provide insights and recommendations to optimize sales strategies and resource allocation.
Team Leadership and Development:
- Manage the output of a team of sales operations professionals.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Conduct performance reviews and provide ongoing coaching and training.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred)
- 12+ years of experience in sales operations management, preferably within the automotive industry or a similar field
- Proven knowledge and expertise in sales operations, policy development, and incentive program management
- Top-notch analytical and sales performance reporting skills
- Strong familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and sales analytics tools
- A creative curiosity, collaborative ethic, hardworking enthusiasm, and driving personal vision
- Excellent communication skills and team-working tendencies
- A penchant for multi-tasking and self-starting

Preferred Qualifications:
- Proven expertise in incentive program design, customer payment reconciliation, and cross-functional collaboration
- A diverse skillset including forecasting, data analysis, process optimization, and team leadership
- A wide range of experience with best practices in sales operations within fast-paced, high-growth environments
Annual Salary Range:
($140,000 - $170,000 DOE), plus benefits and incentive plans
