Position Overview
The Temporary Transportation Coordinator will report to the Manager of Transportation and Logistics and play a critical role in managing FBN Fleet performance, monitoring deliveries, closing loads, and ensuring communication flows smoothly between the FBN drivers, the transportation team, and other internal stakeholders. In this role, you will be directly interacting with customers and drivers to ensure the smooth execution of deliveries and address any issues. This role is essential to maintaining operational efficiency, particularly during our busy season, by ensuring timely deliveries and accurate payments.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor, review and resolve any proof of delivery collection of paper work related to transportation loads, collaborating with all sites and drivers.
- Review transportation paperwork for accuracy and finalize loads within the TMS.
- Proactively manage deliveries in progress, ensuring on-time arrivals and addressing any potential issues.
- Communicate directly with customers to confirm & adjust deliveries timing and resolve delivery concerns.
- Analyze transportation data in spreadsheets and take on ad-hoc projects related to deliveries, delivery dates, and payment issues.
- Assist with any fleet maintenance and rentals needed.
- Investigate and resolve delivery issues in TMS and with carriers, while partnering with the Customer Experience team to address customer concerns.

Preferred Experience
- 2-4 years of experience working in customer service related field
- 2-4 years of experience in transportation management.
- Experience with TMS software (E2Open preferred).
- Experience with NetSuite (preferred).
- Experience with Salesforce (a plus).
