Pledge Insurance Network Manager

Pledge Insurance Network (PIN), a Farmers Mutual Hail (FMH) company, is looking for an individual responsible for the development, delivery, and operations of the Pledge Insurance Network (PIN) including program development, delivery of services to member agencies, agency recruitment and onboarding, and ongoing relationship management with network members. 

REQUIREMENTS:

Experience: Eight or more years of experience in the insurance industry, or equivalent combination of education and/or experience

Education: Associate’s Degree in Risk Management and Insurance, Business Administration, Finance, or related degree (Bachelor’s Degree preferred).

Skills: Experience working within sales, business development, training and/or agency department is necessary. Experience working within or closely with independent insurance agents/agencies is required. Strong understanding of how the insurance industry operates. Experience utilizing at least one CRM system is needed. Proficient with Microsoft Office programs especially Word, Excel and PowerPoint

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Leads the strategic recruitment and expansion of FMH’s insurance aggregator, PIN, by identifying, targeting, and securing independent agency partners aligned with organizational growth objectives.
  • Owns and drives the development, management, and optimization of a robust pipeline of prospective members; establishes processes for consistent tracking, analysis, and reporting of recruitment activities and outcomes.
  • Manages negotiation and execution of member agreements, ensuring alignment with organizational standards and long-term partnership goals. Oversees agency onboarding and market access, including carrier appointments, while serving as a senior liaison between agencies and insurance carriers.
  • Oversees integration of agency books of business into the network, including coordination with carriers, management of agency codes, and establishment of operational workflows to ensure seamless transitions.
  • Develops and implements multi-channel engagement strategies (calls, digital outreach, in-person visits, campaigns, and social media) to attract, retain, and strengthen agency relationships.
  • Provides strategic leadership and advisory support to member agencies, including growth planning, performance benchmarking, and leveraging organizational resources to drive mutual success.
  • Manages the implementation, adoption, and optimization of organizational tools and platforms; ensures effective onboarding, training, and ongoing education for members. Partners with internal teams to develop training materials and improve user experience.
  • Manages and evolves the PIN’s digital presence, including oversight of the network website; collaborates with marketing to align content strategy, branding, and digital engagement initiatives.
  • Directs membership financial processes in partnership with accounting, including oversight of payments, contract compliance, and agreement lifecycle management.
  • Owns and executes the development and operations of the Pledge Insurance Network (PIN), including development of network offerings and delivery of services to member agencies.
