Manager, Advisor Marketing Strategy & Enablement

Hybrid - New York, NY

Company Description

Farther is a rapidly growing RIA that combines expert advisors with cutting-edge technology - delivering a comprehensive, tailored wealth management experience.

Farther’s founders are leaders and innovators from the private wealth industry who possess a unique blend of traditional wealth management, fintech, and technology production expertise. We’re backed by top-tier venture capital firms, fintech investors, and industry leaders.

Joining Farther means joining a collaborative team of entrepreneurs who are passionate about helping their clients and our teammates achieve more. If you’re the type who breaks through walls to get things done the right way, we want to build the future of wealth management with you.

The Role

The Manager, Advisor Marketing Strategy & Enablement will design and lead Farther's advisor-led growth system, setting the standards, playbooks, and programs that help advisors grow their practices organically. This player-coach role focuses on building repeatable frameworks—advisor marketing foundations, digital presence standards, and lifecycle playbooks—while also serving as a front-line voice with advisors considering joining Farther.

You will define what "great" looks like for advisor marketing across social profiles, online presence, and local visibility, and then turn that into prescriptive, plug-and-play growth playbooks that can be executed at scale. You will partner closely with the Manager, Enterprise Strategic Segments, to embed HNW, UHNW, and institutional narratives and materials into these programs, ensuring firm-level strategies translate into day-to-day advisor behavior. You will also spend time each week on recruiting-focused conversations, clearly articulating Farther's growth capabilities to prospective advisors and helping them see how the advisor marketing offering drives AUM growth.

Your Impact

  • Design the advisor marketing foundation system, including standards, checklists, and templates for social media profiles, online presence, and local visibility, so advisors have a clear blueprint for a strong digital footprint and deliver measurable ROI from even foundational marketing tactics
  • Build prescriptive, lifecycle- and persona-based advisor growth playbooks covering specific cadences, campaigns, and assets that can be executed consistently and deliver measurable ROI
  • Incorporate segment-specific positioning and sales materials (HNW, UHNW, institutional) into advisor playbooks and toolkits, ensuring advisors can effectively execute firm strategies in their local markets
  • Own advisor-facing enablement for these programs, including "train-the-trainer" sessions, office hours, and materials that equip Marketing Associates to act as growth coaches for their advisor pods
  • Lead frequent advisor recruiting marketing calls (roughly one per business day) with advisors considering joining Farther, explaining the firm's growth and marketing capabilities and answering detailed questions about how advisor marketing drives practice growth
  • Establish and track a clear KPI framework for advisor-led organic growth, including AUM impact (for example, advisors in programs growing at least 5% faster), advisor adoption of resources, advisors choosing Farther because of its growth platform, and advisor satisfaction with marketing support

The Ideal Match

  • 5–8+ years of experience in advisor marketing, wealth management marketing, or closely related financial advisor growth roles, with direct work supporting financial advisors or advisory teams
  • Proven ability to design and implement structured advisor growth programs or playbooks, turning best practices into prescriptive, easy-to-execute processes that drive measurable AUM growth
  • Strong facilitator and communicator comfortable leading advisor-facing trainings, "train-the-trainer" sessions, and one-on-one prospect calls that clearly articulate a compelling advisor growth story
  • Data-informed mindset with experience defining and tracking KPIs for advisor marketing efforts (for example, pipeline, win rates, AUM growth differentials, adoption and engagement with marketing resources)
  • Familiarity with common advisor marketing tools and platforms (social networks, Google Business Profile, reviews platforms, HubSpot/marketing automation), with the ability to set requirements and partner with admins

Bonus Points

  • Collaborative operator who enjoys serving as the "last mile" for firm-level strategies, working closely with Integrated Marketing, Recruiting, Advisor Experience, and RIA Leadership to scale a coaching-centric advisor growth model

If you believe you belong to any of the categories of protected veterans listed below, please indicate by making the appropriate selection. As a government contractor subject to the Vietnam Era Veterans Readjustment Assistance Act (VEVRAA), we request this information in order to measure the effectiveness of the outreach and positive recruitment efforts we undertake pursuant to VEVRAA. Classification of protected categories is as follows:

A "disabled veteran" is one of the following: a veteran of the U.S. military, ground, naval or air service who is entitled to compensation (or who but for the receipt of military retired pay would be entitled to compensation) under laws administered by the Secretary of Veterans Affairs; or a person who was discharged or released from active duty because of a service-connected disability.

Form CC-305
OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
