Company Description

Farther is a rapidly growing RIA that combines expert advisors with cutting-edge technology - delivering a comprehensive, tailored wealth management experience.

Farther’s founders are leaders and innovators from the private wealth industry who possess a unique blend of traditional wealth management, fintech, and technology production expertise. We’re backed by top-tier venture capital firms, fintech investors, and industry leaders.

Joining Farther means joining a collaborative team of entrepreneurs who are passionate about helping their clients and our teammates achieve more. If you’re the type who breaks through walls to get things done the right way, we want to build the future of wealth management with you.

The Role

Finance runs on good data, and we need a Business Intelligence Associate to help keep ours clean, current, and useful. You'll work directly with our Revenue Operations Manager and alongside the Finance team to run our monthly reporting, dig into the numbers behind it, and get a little sharper every cycle. Expect real coaching, hands-on projects, and a clear path toward data analyst or data science work in finance and AI. If you're excited about finance and want to learn fast, this is a great place to build.

Your Impact

  • Run our monthly financial and operational reports using established frameworks, and keep them accurate and on time
  • Pull data from databases, spreadsheets, and APIs with SQL and Python to spot trends and answer questions
  • Check data quality so everyone can trust what they see
  • Use AI tools to speed up analysis and automate repeat work
  • Support ad hoc requests from Finance, Revenue Operations, and partner teams like HubSpot, and explain what you find in plain English

The Ideal Match

  • A real interest in finance or wealth management, and a clear reason you want to build a career in it
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Analytics, Statistics, or another quantitative field, plus at least one relevant internship
  • Intermediate Python and SQL, and comfort reading code and working with AI to write and debug it
  • Sharp attention to detail and strong integrity with numbers
  • Coachable, motivated, and quick to learn: you take feedback and turn it into better work

Bonus Points

  • Early-career experience in finance, fintech, consulting, or analytics
  • Exposure to AWS or another cloud platform
  • Background in wealth management or financial services

Why Join Us

  • Hands-on coaching from a manager who invests in your growth
  • Your scope grows as fast as you do — we'd rather stretch you than box you in
  • A flat team where anyone can talk to anyone and good ideas win regardless of title
  • Competitive pay that tracks your impact
  • Full health, dental, and vision from day one, plus 401(k) matching and Roth IRA options
  • Unlimited PTO
  • Recognized as one of Inc. Magazine's Best Workplaces two years running

Ready to build the next era of wealth management? Let's talk!

Race & Ethnicity Definitions

If you believe you belong to any of the categories of protected veterans listed below, please indicate by making the appropriate selection. As a government contractor subject to the Vietnam Era Veterans Readjustment Assistance Act (VEVRAA), we request this information in order to measure the effectiveness of the outreach and positive recruitment efforts we undertake pursuant to VEVRAA. Classification of protected categories is as follows:

A "disabled veteran" is one of the following: a veteran of the U.S. military, ground, naval or air service who is entitled to compensation (or who but for the receipt of military retired pay would be entitled to compensation) under laws administered by the Secretary of Veterans Affairs; or a person who was discharged or released from active duty because of a service-connected disability.

A "recently separated veteran" means any veteran during the three-year period beginning on the date of such veteran's discharge or release from active duty in the U.S. military, ground, naval, or air service.

An "active duty wartime or campaign badge veteran" means a veteran who served on active duty in the U.S. military, ground, naval or air service during a war, or in a campaign or expedition for which a campaign badge has been authorized under the laws administered by the Department of Defense.

An "Armed forces service medal veteran" means a veteran who, while serving on active duty in the U.S. military, ground, naval or air service, participated in a United States military operation for which an Armed Forces service medal was awarded pursuant to Executive Order 12985.

Voluntary Self-Identification of Disability

Form CC-305
OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 07/31/2029

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
