
Social Media Content Creator (Part-Time)
We are looking for a camera-ready Content Creator to join our team, playing a key role in our social media content efforts. This individual will collaborate with our performance marketing and creative strategy team to brainstorm, script, film, and edit engaging short-form, native video content for platforms like Instagram and TikTok.
The ideal candidate is a natural storyteller with a strong on-camera presence, a deep understanding of social media trends, and hands-on iPhone video production experience. You love being in front of the camera, but you also thrive behind the scenes — coming up with ideas, editing footage, and analyzing performance metrics to refine your content. You’re part UGC talent, part creative strategist, and 100% passionate about creating content that resonates and drives purchases.
What you’ll be doing
- Act as the on-camera talent in videos, embodying the brand’s voice and building a relatable, authentic connection with audiences
- Ideate, script, film, and edit engaging short-form videos for social platforms (Instagram Reels, TikTok, etc), balancing both speed and quality of execution
- Stay ahead of cultural and social media trends to bring fresh, relevant concepts to the table
- Collaborate with the broader team to align content with performance marketing strategies
- Analyze content performance metrics to iterate on creative approaches and optimize future content
- Help develop an asset library of videos and photos that can be repurposed across marketing channels
- Work with other influencers and UGC contributors to bring ideas to life
Qualifications
- 1-2 years of experience creating and editing video content for social media (bonus if you’ve done it for a brand or for your own personal profile)
- Strong video editing skills using in-app tools like Capcut, TikTok, and Instagram video editor
- Confident and charismatic on camera, with experience speaking directly to the camera
- A proactive, independent, go-getter attitude
- Deep understanding of short-form content best practices, social algorithms, and trend cycles
- Strong creative instincts and storytelling skills
- Ability to move quickly and produce high-quality content with fast turnaround times
- Comfortable juggling multiple projects at once in a fast-paced environment
- Bonus: experience working with in-house performance marketing teams and familiarity with performance marketing platforms and metrics
- Must include a portfolio of work or social media handle to be considered
