Executive Assistant to the CEO
About Fay
At Fay, our mission is to make nutrition a foundational pillar of preventative care, improving outcomes, accessibility, and affordability at scale. We're building AI-powered infrastructure to transform preventative healthcare. Think that's bold? We're just getting started.
Today, Fay is a three-sided marketplace connecting providers, patients, and payers to revolutionize preventative care delivery. Our b2b2c business-in-a-box solution empowers dietitians to deliver high-quality, affordable nutrition care, helps patients take control of their health, and enables payers to build healthier member populations. Nutrition is our starting point, not the finish line. The platform we're building will expand into new areas of preventative health and wellness as we grow.
We're proud to be one of the fastest-growing companies in healthtech, backed by category-defining investors like General Catalyst, Forerunner, 1984, and Goldman Sachs.
Ready to leverage AI-driven technology to transform preventative care and make a real-world impact on health? Let's talk.
About this Role
As Executive Assistant to the CEO, you'll be both a strategic partner and operational backbone to the Office of the CEO. You combine executive-level strategic support with meticulous tactical execution, ensuring the CEO can focus on what matters most while you anticipate needs, remove friction, and drive follow-through across the organization.
You'll be a foundational member of the Office of the CEO, responsible for the CEO's time, logistics, and priorities, and ensuring day-to-day execution with speed, clarity, and precision. Beyond supporting the CEO, you'll take ownership of office management and culture initiatives that strengthen the Faybie experience.
This is a role for someone who thrives in ambiguity, moves with urgency, and operates with impeccable judgment in a fast-moving, high-trust environment where discretion and follow-through are essential.
The role is based in NYC and the salary range for this role is $110,000-$130,000.
What You'll Be Doing
- Own the CEO's calendar like it’s a competitive sport: prioritize what matters, manage complex multi-party scheduling across time zones, and ensure every meeting is strategic, aligned with business priorities, well-prepped, and worth the time
- Act as a true strategic partner and focus the CEO’s attention: serve as the CEO's right hand, exercising sound judgment to determine what requires CEO attention versus what you can handle independently
- Execute flawlessly on the details that matter: coordinate travel (and handle the inevitable last-minute changes), manage inbox and correspondence with discretion, prepare briefing materials, and ensure the CEO walks into every commitment ready to win
- Run the NYC office like you own it: manage vendors, coordinate team lunches, keep supplies stocked, maintain a workspace people actually enjoy being in, and handle the operational details that keep everything humming
- Shape and sustain Fay's culture: design and execute team events, off-sites, culture moments, and Faybie traditions that create connection, celebration, and a thriving team experience
Your Skills and Experience
- 5+ years supporting a CEO or C-suite executive: you have experience working in high-growth startups, scale-ups, or other high-velocity environments where “fast-paced” is an understatement
- Ability to juggle competing priorities: you manage complex calendars and competing stakeholder priorities with ease and execute flawlessly on both strategic and tactical responsibilities, all without breaking a sweat (or at least without showing it!)
- Exceptional organization and attention to detail: nothing falls through the cracks with you, even in a fast-moving, high-stakes environment
- Proactive and anticipatory problem-solver: you see around corners, anticipates needs before they arise, solve problems before anyone knows they exist, and remove friction like it’s your superpower
- Impeccable judgment and discretion: you handle sensitive information with care, make sound decisions independently, and know instinctively when to escalate
- Outstanding written and verbal communication: you communicate clearly and concisely across all levels of the organization, whether you're drafting an email to a board member, coordinating with vendors, or rallying the team, you're clear, concise, and always professional
- NYC-based and ready to be in-office 3-5 days per week: you are present, in the mix, and available to manage both CEO needs and office operations in real-time
