Position Summary
Reporting to the Director of Safety, Security, and Guest Experience, the Security Assistant will be responsible for assisting with the daily operations of the Security team. The Security Assistant will have responsibilities at all three FC Cincinnati Campuses: TQL Stadium, Mercy Health Training Center, and the Front Office. The Security Assistant will be expected to work on dark days as well as events at TQL Stadium. The Security Assistant will possess a strong work ethic with highly proficient communication and interpersonal skills. This assistant has a demonstrated ability to successfully collaborate across cultures, departments, and varying personalities. This role is responsible for ensuring world-class safety and security at TQL Stadium, Mercy Health Training Center, and FC Cincinnati’s Front Office for all employees and visitors.
What You’ll Do:
- Assist with the oversight of FC Cincinnati’s Contracted Security Company.
- Oversight of match day credentials from collection of requests, management of database, through printing and distribution for all FC Cincinnati events and assist in the production of credentials for all outside events.
- Serve as a secondary point of contact for Law Enforcement and the City of Cincinnati agencies in the absence of the Security Director.
- Assist with TQL Stadium’s Event Auditor Program and collect and distribute data from event audits.
- Collect guest feedback and combine with internal after-action reports to develop metrics and measurables for the security department.
- Assist with the development of security training programs in which customer service is a key component.
- Assist with overall security measures and initiatives at all FC Cincinnati campuses and events. This position will be based primarily at TQL Stadium, but may have additional responsibilities at the Mercy Health Training Center, Front Office, and FCC2 Matches.
- Maintain a current and working knowledge regarding local, state, and federal laws and regulations, as well as the MLS, public assembly facilities and general best practices concerning the rights of and reasonable accommodations for persons with disabilities.
- Ensure that all ADA related matters are addressed in a prompt and professional manner.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
What You’ll Bring:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office or Google Suites applications.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communications skills. Ability to communicate effectively and to convey instructions or information to all levels both orally and in writing.
- Strong organization skills and attention to detail with the ability to multitask.
- Outstanding customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred but not required.
What You’ll Need:
- High School Diploma required. Additional training in event management or security is preferred.
- Experience in Incident Management software preferred.
- Trained Crowd Manager certification preferred.
- CPR/AED/First Aid Certification preferred.
- Must be able to successfully traverse the various levels and areas of TQL Stadium with a strong physical condition and ability to stand, walk, climb, or run for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to work extended hours including nights, weekends, and holidays as necessary.
