Position Summary:
Reporting to the Event Operations Manager, the Event Operations Assistant will work directly with the Event Operations team in many aspects of FC Cincinnati and TQL Stadium events including set up, teardown, and event production. This part-time position (25 hours/week) will help ensure all events are executed flawlessly by assisting the Stadium and Event Operations team in ensuring that TQL Stadium is operating as efficiently and effectively as possible. The Event Operations Assistant will work approximately 3-4 days a week from 9:00am – 2:00pm, depending on availability.
What You’ll Do:
- Provide event support and coordination for all TQL Stadium events such as MLS games, private events, and other public and private events
- Event preparation for all stadium events including set up of facility (trash cans, tables, chairs, gates, etc.)
- Effectively communicate and collaborate with Stadium & Event Operations, Guest Experience, Security, Grounds Crew, and Housekeeping
- Read and interpret floorplans, written documents, and layouts to ensure event arrangements meet client requirements
- Assist with the coordination of stadium and internal events to include:
- Serve as point of contact for special events
- Set up of operations in meeting and event spaces
- Ensure all areas involved in event space are ready prior to the event day including cleanliness of all involved areas
- Track event operations equipment inventory and maintain organized storage areas
- Assist with ensuring stadium cleanliness and organized storage areas
- Implement and enforce stadium facility rules, regulations, policies, and procedures for event space usage
- Actively participate in stadium major events, including setup and breakdown
- Other duties as assigned

What You’ll Need:
- Minimum education of High School Diploma or GED
- 1+ year experience working in event operations or related field
- Experience working in an event venue atmosphere that consists of various size and types of events
- Must be detail ordinated and capable of working on multiple events simultaneously
- Able to work non-traditional hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as necessary
- Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite and ether event booking software as appropriate
- Ability to sit, stand and walk for long periods of time and occasionally lift, carry and/or drag up to fifty (50) pounds if necessary
