Federato’s AI/ML-driven platform leverages deep reinforcement learning to help insurance companies optimize the portfolio of risks they insure, allowing them to continue to provide fair and equitable pricing in difficult-to-price areas. Our category-defining ‘RiskOps’ solution drives better underwriting decisions by operationalizing underutilized data investments and surfacing real-time risk and portfolio insights. We focus on putting insurance underwriters back in the driver’s seat, helping them meet their goals while providing an important service to society.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Lead the orchestration and execution of a comprehensive physical and virtual event marketing strategy, to drive brand awareness, generate sales leads, nurture customers and contribute to revenue goals. Implement strategies to maximize attendee engagement and overall positive event experiences.
  • Develop bold event strategies and creative activations that generate pipeline and revenue with a key focus on ROI.
  • Research, plan, and execute a wide range of events including industry conferences, trade shows, local events, speaking engagements, and webinars.
  • Foster customer loyalty through successfully planning and executing community-building experiences.
  • Manage all logistical facets of events, including liaising with vendors, negotiating contracts, and cross-functional team alignment to deliver top-tier events.
  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the success and impact of events. Provide regular reports and analysis on ROI.
  • Create and manage comprehensive event budgets, ensuring resource allocation efficiency and monitor expenses throughout the event lifecycle, while identifying opportunities for cost optimization without compromising quality.
  • Collaborate closely with product marketing, content and design to ensure consistent brand representation and messaging across all events to reinforce the company's positioning and values. 
  • Influence and collaborate closely with internal stakeholders at all levels across Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, Product and Engineering and align all stakeholders on pre-event, during-event, and post-event engagement to execute experiences that drive results.

Role Requirements:

  • 7-10 years in industry event marketing, specifically within the B2B tech industry
  • Experience building and managing large industry events, conferences, bespoke activations, and proprietary events
  • Expertise in contract negotiation, vendor management, and budget oversight.
  • Background in insurance or fintech is a plus.
  • Ability to effectively influence senior leaders and inspiring them to take action.
  • Proven track record of planning and executing successful events and experiential marketing campaigns across physical, digital and virtual mediums, from initial objective setting through development, execution, and measurement.
  • Strong analytical mindset to measure event success and possess a clear understanding of the data required to drive impactful outcomes.
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to influence cross-functional teams, both internally and externally 
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with a proven ability to think strategically
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and accuracy
  • Ability to travel to events for onsite setup and team supervision, management of the event
