Overview of Role

Fello is looking for a Senior Growth Marketing Manager to report to the CMO and work closely with internal and external teams to drive demand for Fello across a wide range of tactics and marketing channels. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in scaling our business by taking a data-backed approach to developing and executing company-level growth strategy. 

As a member of the founding team, this role provides the opportunity to partner with and learn from a powerhouse team of executives with a proven track record of success across a wide range of spaces. We’re looking for a fearless growth marketer who blends creativity, growth intuition, and quant chops to deliver growth from places expected (performance channels, lifecycle marketing, CRO) and less expected (the “I wish I’d thought of that” big ideas).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead all growth workstreams, supporting company-level growth goals by aggressively prioritizing the highest impact projects and constantly improving the velocity and impact of execution.
  • Develop and execute data-driven product-led growth strategies that convert prospects to paid customers, focusing on activation and engagement.
  • Collaborate with the executive team to set growth goals and strategies.
  • Continuously optimize all conversion funnels including web, landing pages, ASO and new user onboarding.
  • Collaborate with product, engineering, and data teams to identify growth opportunities, run A/B tests, and implement scalable tactics that reduce friction in the user experience while increasing product adoption.
  • Lead the design and implementation of lifecycle communications, from early engagement/conversion to onboarding to ongoing engagement & retention.
  • Work with the data team to build dashboards and track KPIs related to user acquisition, retention, and overall growth.
  • Manage and monitor budget allocations, ensuring efficient use of resources to meet growth targets. Continuously optimize campaigns for ROI, leveraging data and insights to make informed decisions.
  • Stay abreast of the latest trends and technologies in digital marketing, applying best practices to our growth efforts.
  • Mentor and potentially build a team of growth marketers as the company scales.

Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of relevant experience in growth marketing, with a proven track record of supporting scaling businesses. 
  • Well-rounded experience in scaling new user acquisition and conversion in a startup or fast-growing company - with a superpower in at least one area (i.e. user acquisition or product-led growth) and a drive to master the rest. 
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Experience with A/B testing, CRO, and using analytics tools (Looker, Google Analytics, PostHog, Mixpanel, etc.).
  • Strong communication skills. In particular proven effectiveness at collaborating with executive stakeholders, distilling complex problems into recommendations. 
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment. 0 to 1 experience is a plus.
