Overview of Role

Fello is looking for a Marketing Manager to report to the CMO and work closely with internal and external teams to build demand for the Fello brand and business. We’re looking for a marketer who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment where no two days are alike, demonstrating exceptional adaptability and the ability to pivot quickly while maintaining strategic focus.

As a member of the start-up team, this role provides the opportunity to partner with and learn from a powerhouse team of executives with a proven track record of success across a wide range of spaces. We love big, bold thinking and are excited to bring someone on who brings that creative firepower to the table– with the execution chops to see it through. Experience with consumer products is a must.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with the CMO and team to manage, refine, and execute brand/marketing strategy and audience messaging.
  • Dream up and execute social media strategies that support business objectives while cutting through. 
  • Run the show across all social channels: prioritization, content ideation, social calendar management, production and measurement.
  • Lead the marketing of new product/feature launches across earned, owned and paid channels. 
  • Oversee the marketing team in cross-functional initiatives, leveraging your superpowers as a marketing generalist.
  • Utilize research and data to drive actionable insights to develop marketing strategies and plans. Help shape Fello’s learning agenda but unpacking gaps in customer, cultural and business knowledge.
  • Develop content strategies that engage and educate our audience across web, app, email, blog, events, and more. 
  • Own the marketing programs and go-to-market strategy for influencer/creator marketing programs - that meet our short and long-term business goals
  • Design, manage, and execute co-marketing and community marketing  campaigns and initiatives that drive results and learnings. 

Qualifications:

  • Oversee marketing workstreams, supporting company-level growth goals by aggressively prioritizing the highest impact projects and constantly improving the velocity and quality of execution.
  • You have 3+ years of experience in consumer marketing, with some mix of brand, product, content or social media marketing experience. 
  • Strong written and verbal communication with a passion for content creation.
  • You’re a self-starter, detail and deadline-oriented, organized, resourceful, and have the ability to manage projects from start to finish.
  • You are a scrappy multi-hyphentate who brings lots of skills to the table (i.e. copy and design). You identify as more of a generalist than a specialist.
  • You have experience managing multiple marketing initiatives and campaigns at once, and leading a cross-functional team in end-to-end execution. 
  • You are both right brained and left brained– and have demonstrated experience leveraging analytical rigor & insight to drive your creativity.
