Overview of Role

Fello is looking for a Product Marketing Manager, Growth to report to the CMO and work closely with internal and external teams to drive demand for Fello across a wide range of tactics and marketing channels.  In this role, you will play a pivotal role in scaling our business by taking a data-backed approach to developing and executing company-level growth strategy. 

As a member of the founding team, this role provides the opportunity to partner with and learn from a powerhouse team of executives with a proven track record of success across a wide range of spaces. We’re looking for a fearless product marketer who blends creativity, growth intuition, and quant chops to deliver growth from places expected (performance channels, product & funnel/app store optimization, referral, lifecycle, CRO) and less expected (the “I wish I’d thought of that” big ideas). Early stage start-up experience is a major plus, but we’re also open to candidates who are super passionate about what we’re doing at Fello, and willing to roll up their sleeves/get scrappy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead growth & product marketing workstreams, supporting company-level growth goals by aggressively prioritizing the highest impact projects and constantly improving the velocity and impact of execution.
  • Develop and execute data-driven product-led growth strategies that convert prospects to paid customers, focusing on activation and engagement.
  • Envision and own what growth means for Fello based on consumer insights, data, and testing.
  • Collaborate with product, engineering, and data teams to identify growth opportunities, run A/B tests, and implement scalable tactics that reduce friction in the user experience while increasing product adoption
  • Own the development of all product positioning, value props and messaging.  
  • Drive trust and adoption of Fello’s products through educational content as well as testimonials & reviews. 
  • Continuously optimize all conversion funnels including web, landing pages, ASO and new user onboarding.
  • Lead the design and implementation of lifecycle communications, from early engagement/conversion to onboarding to ongoing engagement & retention.
  • Work with the data team to build dashboards and track KPIs related to user acquisition, retention, and overall growth.

Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of relevant experience in product and/or growth marketing, with a proven track record of supporting scaling businesses. 
  • Well-rounded experience in scaling new user acquisition and conversion in a startup or fast-growing company - with a superpower in at least one area (i.e. user acquisition or product-led growth) and a drive to master the rest. 
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Experience with A/B testing, CRO, and using analytics tools (Looker, Google Analytics, PostHog, Mixpanel, etc.).
  • Strong communication skills. In particular proven effectiveness at collaborating with executive stakeholders, distilling complex problems into recommendations. 
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment. 0 to 1 experience is a plus.
