Senior Mechanical Design Engineer (Lithuania)
Position Overview:
As a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be leading product development for Fellow's newest product lines.

This position is held in our newly established Fellow R&D Studio in Vilnius, Lithuania.
Responsibilities:
- Lead product’s mechanical development of our newest product lines.
- Product Development: Prioritize and guide product development activities from prototypes to mass production. Partner with design, engineering and operations teams to ensure products meet quality, cost and timeline targets.
- Collaborate with the Quality team to establish and maintain quality standards for products, ensuring they meet or exceed customer expectations and comply with relevant regulations.
- Collaborate with the Supply Chain and Operations teams on managing relationships with suppliers and manufacturers to ensure product quality, cost efficiency, and timely delivery.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree and at least 5+ years of mechanical engineering or mechatronics.
- Product development experience working in various development models (JDM, ODM, etc.) and scaling productions to high-volume.
- Experience designing plastic enclosures for plastic injection molding.
- Be fluent with bearings, nuts, bolts, latches, hubs, axes, electric motors and other mechanical components.
- Have deep practical knowledge about manufacturing processes like plastic injection molding, metal sheet bending and spinning, turning, etc.
- Hands on prototyping - 3D printing and skills needed in workshops to build and test prototypes.
- Mechanical CAD experience - preferably Onshape.
- A passion for physical, lifestyle, or fashion products - not just the way they work, but how they feel to the end-user.
- Excellent quantitative and analytical skills with the ability to use data to drive recommendations and actions.
- High attention to detail and proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously with minimal supervision in ambiguous environments.

Salary Range (gross per month): 5,500 - 6,500 EUR
