Video Editor

Within Fender Musical Instruments Corporation’s ("FMIC") Marketing team, this role will be responsible for creating compelling video content that showcases Fender's products, artists, and brand story across multiple platforms. An American icon, Fender was born in Southern California and has built a worldwide influence extending beyond the studio and the stage. We are searching for a Video Editor based in the Los Angeles Area to join the Marketing Operations Team.
This role is primarily remote with travel to the Hollywood office and Corona Studio as needed. This position reports to the Director of Studio Operations. This person will be working in a fast-paced environment and must be able to manage multiple project simultaneously. The Video Editor must be able to work autonomously & remotely, applying strong attention to detail and exemplifying strong communication skills. It is ideal for this person to have a deep understanding of Fender's brand voice and heritage.
Essential Functions:
- Edit and produce high-quality video content for Fender's digital platforms, including social media, website, and educational content
- Create dynamic product demos, artist features, and promotional videos
- Collaborate with the Marketing Operations team to maintain brand consistency and messaging
- Color grade and optimize footage for various delivery platforms
- Manage video asset organization and archival
- Support live video production when needed
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of professional video editing experience
- Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (primarily Premiere Pro and After Effects)
- Strong understanding of video production workflow and best practices
- Experience with music-related content creation
- Portfolio demonstrating creative storytelling abilities
- Knowledge of current social media video specifications and trends
- Familiarity with cloud-based project tracking tools such as Adobe Workfront preferred
- Experience in musical instrument industry good to have
- Understanding of guitar gear and equipment preferable
- Motion graphics capabilities and audio editing experience desirable
- Knowledge of DaVinci Resolve good to know
- Photography skills nice to have

Please note that it is not typical for a Fender employee to be at or near the top of the pay scale for their role – especially as a new hire – and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. Subject to the foregoing, the current pay scale for this position is $87,100.00 - $121,000.00
