About The Role
Fetch is looking for a team member who can seamlessly bridge business and technical conversations to support our mission of helping pets live their healthiest and happiest lives. In this role, you’ll translate complex discussions into clean, actionable documentation that drives both business and system outcomes. You’ll collaborate with clients, leadership, and cross-functional partners to build alignment and deliver meaningful results. We’re seeking a strategic thinker who understands the operations and data-driven impacts of insurance processes and can use that insight to move initiatives forward. Primary Responsibilities
- Partner with Account Managers and client stakeholders during sales and discovery meetings to capture, clarify, and document client objectives, operational workflows, and reporting needs.
- Develop and maintain business requirements documentation (BRDs) that accurately reflect customer and internal business owner expectations.
- Understand and articulate how different insurance business models (e.g., direct-to-consumer, brokered, MGA, or carrier relationships) impact system setup, data flow, and reporting.
- Collaborate with Underwriting, Claims, and Policy Administration teams to align technology and business processes.
- Analyze client data requirements, reporting structures, and compliance considerations to ensure business and regulatory needs are met.
- Serve as a liaison between business and technical teams, ensuring clarity, alignment, and accurate interpretation of business requirements.
- Facilitate communication and follow-up actions after client and internal meetings, driving accountability and completion of next steps.
- Support continuous improvement by identifying process efficiencies, data quality enhancements, and better alignment between business operations and system capabilities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Insurance, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst within the insurance industry, ideally supporting sales, operations, or technology transformation initiatives.
- Strong understanding of insurance processes such as quoting, underwriting, policy issuance, billing, and claims.
- Demonstrated experience defining and documenting business requirements for insurance systems (e.g., policy administration, CRM, or data analytics platforms).
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills — able to confidently engage with business executives, clients, and technical staff.
- Solid analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency with documentation and project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, Visio, or Microsoft Office Suite.
- Technical acumen to understand how business requirements translate to system functionality — without needing to write or code the solution.
Preferred
- Experience working with brokers, agents, or within the employee benefits ecosystem
- Background in insurance, fintech, or HR technology is a plus

Compensation
- The pay range for this position is $80,000 - $90,000 on a full-time basis
- Along with base salary, your position may qualify for additional bonuses
- This position is eligible for the Company’s bonus plan(s)
