We are seeking an Associate Director, Marketing to be based in our New York office; this is a hybrid role with at least 3 days expected in-person.

This role will be responsible for helping to organize and implement our marketing strategies and initiatives in North America. The individual works closely with other teams across the firm to design and ensure smooth execution of campaigns.

Responsibilities

Content Strategy, Creation and Management

  • Develop and Execute Strategy: Create and implement a comprehensive, innovative, and high-quality content strategy
  • Content Calendar Management: Own the content calendar and ensure the timely delivery of all content projects
  • Full Cycle Content Development: Oversee the entire content development process from drafting to distribution
  • Collaboration with Partners: Partner with practice and sector leaders to draft and refine thought leadership content, ensuring alignment with marketing campaigns, product launches, and other business initiatives
  • Data-Driven Content: Collaborate with the Research team to create data-driven thought leadership pieces
  • Creative Packaging: Work with the Digital and Creative teams to package thought leadership in visually engaging and creative formats (e.g., infographics, videos, interactive websites)
  • Industry Trends: Stay updated on the latest industry trends and the competitive landscape
  • Internal Marketing: Partner with the internal communications team to promote thought leadership and other marketing initiatives internally

Campaign Management

  • Full Cycle Campaign Management: Oversee the entire lifecycle of marketing campaigns and coordinate with the broader global marketing team to support various marketing campaigns
  • Targeting and Channels: Advise practice and sector partners on targeting and audience channels, both externally and internally
  • Social Media Content: Develop engaging social media content
  • Best Practices: Stay informed about developments in campaign marketing and share best practices with the team

Business Development Enablement

  • Marketing Materials Management: Maintain and update the library of marketing materials (collateral, pitch decks, credential decks) to ensure they reflect the FGS Global brand and messaging
  • Accessibility: Work with the internal communications team to ensure marketing materials are easily accessible

Metrics and Budgeting

  • Budget Management: Oversee the content creation and campaign budget
  • Metrics Tracking: Manage the tracking and reporting of content performance metrics.

Other

  • Cross-Functional Support: Provide support to other marketing functions as needed

The Person:

The ideal candidate must be a proactive and solution-oriented thinker with the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.  The individual will be a functional expert with specific experience in marketing and work alongside other professionals to help execute the marketing strategy for North America. 

Additional Qualifications and Experience:

  • 5-7 years’ experience in a marketing-based role, ideally in a professional services firm (communications agency, financial services, consulting, law firm, etc.).
  • Strong understanding of content marketing principles and best practices and ability to develop and implement comprehensive content strategies that align with business goals
  • Excellent project management and planning skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong multi-channel campaign management experience
  • Confidence and presence to work effectively with colleagues at all levels.
  • Well-rounded, adaptable and detailed-oriented individual comfortable working through challenges.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Highly collaborative, and comfortable working in a team-based environment.
  • Results focused, with a high bar for quality.
  • A “how can I help” approach.
  • A bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field of study.

New York City Salary Range

$100,000 - $140,000 USD
