FGS is seeking an experienced Digital Strategist to develop and manage digital communications programs and creative campaigns for some of our biggest clients, brands, and issues. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of digital tools and channels, including web, social, paid media, creative, and analytics. This role requires close collaboration with colleagues across specs to deliver fully integrated campaigns. Responsibilities span the entire campaign lifecycle, encompassing new business pitches, strategy development, client relationship management, and seamless campaign execution. Responsibilities

  • Develop comprehensive digital communications strategies and tactical plans
  • Provide ad-hoc counsel to internal and external clients 
  • Collaborate with the FGS Creative Studio to develop digital and social advertising assets
  • Integrate digital and traditional paid media strategies
  • Develop owned media strategies with social media experts
  • Analyze campaign performance with the analytics team and recommend tactical changes
  • Manage junior staff on digital programs and help them develop core competencies
  • Oversee client relationships and campaign execution
  • Contribute to new business proposals and processes

Attributes

  • 7-10 years of experience in digital strategy and campaign management
  • Demonstrated expertise in developing and executing digital programs and campaigns
  • Strong client-management and communications skills, both written and oral
  • Lead client relationships, guide client processes, and timeline management
  • Ability to work across teams and divisions, and with subject matter experts
  • Familiarity with integrated campaign elements: paid and owned media strategy, qualitative and quantitative research, creative concepting and production, social, and analytics
  • Keeps current on the latest digital platforms, practices, and tools
  • Excellent time management, organization, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
  • Detail-oriented with exceptional critical thinking abilities
  • Prior agency or political campaign experience is a plus

In Washington, DC the base salary for this position at the time of this posting may range from $110,000—$150,000 USD. Individual compensation varies based on job-related factors, including business needs, experience, level of responsibility and qualifications.

District of Columbia Salary Range

$110,000 - $150,000 USD
