About the role

FGS Global is seeking a Digital Project Manager to join the firm's AI+Innovation Website Team. If you love collaborating, innovating, and learning, then we want to hear from you. Our team is made up of developers, designers, strategists, data analysts, and more.

All members of the Project Management team are expected to be tech-savvy professionals with an in-depth understanding of FGS Global's business goals. The Project Manager should be methodical and have excellent communication and time management skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Ultimately, the Project Manager is responsible for managing and delivering web development and software projects within quality, time, and budget requirements. This position is based in our Kingston, NY, New York City, or Washington, D.C. office with potential option to be fully remote in a different location.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide end-to-end project management for custom websites, web applications, and software development projects
  • Lead discovery engagements with clients and internal teams, capturing requirements and monitoring progress against budget and timeline
  • Develop and execute strategic project plans, proactively identifying risks, building mitigation strategies, and adapting as needed to resolve issues
  • Facilitate client and internal meetings, representing FGS Global professionally while ensuring clear communication across development, design, and strategy teams
  • Deliver projects on time and on budget while maintaining quality standards and client satisfaction
  • Internalize client goals and objectives, driving engagement and scope development to maintain strong, long-term relationships
  • Develop comprehensive project documentation including risk logs, requirement specifications, and technical documentation
  • Leverage AI tools to enhance project efficiency, improve workflows, and deliver higher-quality outcomes
  • Stay current on emerging technologies and digital best practices, identifying opportunities to enhance project delivery and processes

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3-5+ years of experience managing custom website, web application, or software development projects
  • Proven ability to leverage AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, etc.) to enhance productivity, streamline workflows, and improve project outcomes
  • Excellent organizational skills with ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize based on deadlines and urgency
  • Strong communication and decision-making skills with ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders
  • Excellent writing skills
  • Ability to work independently and be a self-starter in a fast-paced environment
  • High degree of proficiency with Asana or similar project management platforms (Jira, Monday.com, etc.)
  • Proficiency with modern web development platforms (Webflow, WordPress, etc.) and familiarity with HTML/CSS
  • Understanding of SEO, Google Analytics (GA4), and digital performance metrics
  • Solid technical background with ability to address accessibility (WCAG compliance), compatibility, and security issues

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience with Webflow or similar no-code/low-code web development platforms
  • Understanding of API integrations and modern web development workflows
  • Knowledge of data privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA)
  • Experience in communications, public affairs, or professional services environments

New York City Salary Range

$70,000 - $90,000 USD
